Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
Yes, that's true about Gavin. I can't stand him, but,as you say, the other guy was boring and seemed pretty weak, so guess it makes for more interesting viewing.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
LOL @ those dancers. Is it that hard to get quality entertainment in country towns ? But I am glad Gavin stays over the other boring guy.

At least the losing team has better food. The country ppl must love their Italian spaghetti. LOL

Yes, you and me too - and that's really stretching it! Very funny and I couldn't work out what possessed Gavin.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
Hi Coach, agree with all of that. yes the boss is great (in more ways than one!) Becoming interesting isn't it with the egos and power plays coming to the fore.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
I think this is the best version I've seen. The boss is a really interesting and fair bloke. I was impressed with how he handled the issue of the team accidentally leaving off the "2006" reference in their posters. I was also impressed with how that woman (can't remember her name) was so emotional and took full responsibility with no excuses.

And I kinda knew from early on that the "festivale" team would lose - they were aiming too high and fancy. A big principle in business is KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) and the bunch that thought of the Italian Trivia did just that! As well as being more aware of the local people and what they would (a) be able to afford and (b) like to do!

Fascinating stuff all round!

I think Gavin is a bit of a snake in the grass! Yes, the older woman (Jane?) was weak I thought - no get up and go at all.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
At first I was surprised that the older woman(Sorry cant remember her name!) went first, but afterwards I thought that it was the best decision because she didnt even say anything to defend herself when she had the stronger hand. If she'd of just gone after Carman ,and pointed out exactly why they lost and shown some gumption , she more than likely wouldnt of been fired. I did like Gavin a lot before this week, but I am tending to agree with you about him now, he could of at least admitted his mistake!! It is a shame blake didnt argue his point better, but I think it was a little to do with the fact that Gavin did a good job last week that kept him in the competition. If he stuffs up again though I bet he'll be out!lol

Yes, I agree about Carman, but think that older woman just didn't cut it anyway? Also can't stand Gavin (?) I think he's the one who almost got the boot last night, who seems to run the others down and not accept responsibility. Reckon Carman/en wld be a right B.i.t.c.h!!

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
I like watching the apprentice, even the American and English versions. But yes, our BOSS, is definately the best! Very easy on the eye and a nice guy as well. Of the contestants I'm really hoping Carmen loses in a big way!!Maybe not too soon as it does create drama having a person like her there, but I really cannot stand her,she should of gone the first week , I think that if that older woman had stuck up for herself , Carmen would of had to go, as the jobs were done( so it couldnt be put down to the older woman working too slow) but they lost because the pricing was way too low for the job, which came down to carmen as team leader.

The Apprentice Reply to this message
Anyone watching this show? I tried watching the American version and couldn't get into it, but I'm actually enjoying the Oz show, surprisingly. Loving the interaction between the contenders, the egos and the BOSS most of all!
