Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
Well omniboi people define success in different ways. Success to you it appears is based solely on looks. Unfortunately not everyone is born with or can achieve the perfect body and has the perfect face. Those that do more than often when having been continuously told how gorgeous they look develop personalities that are far from attractive and beyond their physical appearance have little to offer. No denying goods looks can land you a job but whether you can be good at it is another thing.
The job being offered had nothing to do with being a fashion model but if that's what you're interested in there are several other reality shows of that type you could watch while playing with the ferret.
For me Maryanne and Morello were the most legitimate and worthy for the job.
Our winner Morello reminds me of Aussie Home Loans John Simons who isn't exactly skinny but is a huge success financially in business and socially with likable personality.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
I actually feel sorry for you now omniboi! So biased and uninformed. Your silly remark about 23yo and o/w = fail is untrue as i've worked with many people of all dimensions who have been absolutely brilliantly successful, despite their leanness or otherwise, so that puts paid to your whacky theory right away. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and I'd say that many of us here have much more experience of life than you, obviously.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
Not that anyone deserves 200k really although it happens...but being overweight has no bearing on his income.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
I'm not the slightest bit surprised by omniboi's latest remark - to be expected from one so stupid.

No omiboi, I'm not overweight, just as I'm not as shallow or as uninformed as your self.

Please elaborate on how weight has anything to do with success or failure in life? Some of the greatest leaders, business people, academics and entertainers were overweight. Get a clue.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
No nerve hit with me at all, not a sliver overweight so there again, weight bears no issue to people commenting here.
Perhaps it's you with some kind of complex?

Actually, Boulos wanted someone who WILL BE successful in life, not already so..but perhaps you were so absorbed in contestants weight that you missed that important factor.

Mark wanted someone who is successful in life. Being fat is a failure health wise.

Mark Bouros is a very intelligent and realistic man and would find your theories, thoughts ridiculous. What an insult to him your comments are.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
Oh boy! Unbelievable comments about weight! The mind needs broadening urgently. Imagine if all bosses thought that way. I've worked with thin people, not so thin people, coloured people, religious people and you know what? it didn't mean diddly squat what weight, height, race, colour they were. It gets down to the right person for the job. How ANYONE in this day and age can be so unbelievably prejudiced is beyond me.

enough with the body image stuff omniboy - with an attitude like yours it's no wonder we children/teens and adults flooding into the mental health/health systems with anorexia nervosa and such. You may check yourself out at the cave door and don't forget your flintstone axe.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
Mark Bouris too had sizes in his mind when he paired Mary Anne and Morello during Top 4. With everything else equal, I would have pick the slimmer candidate. But he was trying to be PC.

Re:The Apprentice Reply to this message
omniboi...I repeat what Tash has just said...and since when did weight, or lack of it, have any effect on the workings of the brain and it's ability to perform the task required?
It's quite apparent that the organisation didn't give a darn about contestant size, otherwise they wouldn't have been accepted in the first place.
