| I love watching The Benny Hill show on UKTV, now they don't play it any more. I get this magazine called movie Musicals and you get a DVD with it and part 8 you get Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which had Benny Hill in it. I love those classic movie musicals. my favourite one is Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. I am 24 years old and I love watching TV shows from my mum and dad's era |

| PS Benny Hill is just plain stupid and really only has a couple of jokes that he just does over and over and over arrrgggghhhh!!! If they must resurrect old comedies from Britain (which I admit I'd prefer to hideous old comedies from America) then why not The Young Ones - now that was funny. |

| I say bring on the good old comedies from that era especially the 'GOODIES' and I'm 30 years of age. they were the best comedy shows of their time and still are the best in my opinion. the set the stage for todays 'so called comedies'. | I don't mind watching classic tv shows and movies and yet I am a young person. TV does not have to suite just the young people. Let the oldies have some TV show as well. |

| Comedy evolves through the years. Before everyone walked around on the beach half naked(like nowadays) and before porn was readily available on the net, this kind of stuff was funny and a bit risque. He was in no way a pervert...he was gay for godsake...he only did it for the laughs it got. |

| I started watching the ABC, and found I was picking up more and more good drama, hilarious comedies and great news shows. I have Foxtel too (movies and international news mainly), but I still seem to be watching the ABC most of the time. Their new iView online program service from their website is a ripper. I don't know if the ABC has got better or the others worse, but now I won't even watch top-rating dramas on the commers anymore. |

| Keeping up appearances in the arvo, was originally a 30 minute show, now they have stretched it to 40 minutes, thats an extra 10 minutes of ads. Then Benny Hill for 20 minutes with 9 minutes of ads. CH7, youre digging your own grave. Ch9 wont be a dead dog forever, and when it rises to the fore as it surely will do, your pathetic programming will put you below the ABC. |

| Benny Hill was the chaplin of his day he was very inteligent and funny. The british comedians are a cut above the rest. Dave allen was so funny as was tony hanc00k, spike milligan, tommy cooper the two ronnies you guys do not get the humor it cr@ps on scrubs and that 70's show but to be fair i like both those shows. We live in a different era but comedy is timeless when it is done right. Honestly watch some old british comedy shows they are brilliant. |

| Absolutely agree about the so-called humour of the Americans....very weak and childlike. And yes, the Brits have it all over them. Was just reminded of this as I bought a Dave Allen dvd. I think you will find that Channel 7 have assumed (either correctly or incorrectly) that younger people are either at school or work at the times that those shows are screened and have gone for what the nannas like. |

| So 7 use to have great afternoon program's not anymore though, gone is Scrubs and That 70's show and in place Keeping up Appearances and The Benny Hill Show Now might of been great in my grandmothers time but not 2008. Bring back stuff the younger people like not this old reruns of the lost years. |
