| I totally agree with you about it being a much better life here. I however miss all my old friends and family and I havent clicked with a nice aussie guy yet so maybe I would go back. It was nice reading your story. All the best Sharon |

| We came to Brisbane in 1998 from Surrey UK. I can say it is the best move we ever made and wouldn't go back there to live for quids, even though my marriage broke up 3 years after we arrived here. I have now re-married to a lovely Aussie guy, my children and I are all citizens and we relish the great Queensland lifestyle. Life here is so much slower than the UK. Our next dream is to become grey nomads when the children are all sef sufficient. Anyone contemplating a change, my advice would be "Go for your life - what have you got to lose?
