| I have resigned from my job and so has my husband. Everyone I tell about our move has replied something along the lines of " Well this is the real seachange". You see we are changing our busy lives in Brisbane, packing up and going to Phillip Island in Victoria to run a Motel. We have sold one of our cars making us a one car family. Can't wait to be a resident of a small community, where I can walk my children to school each day and have lunch with my husband while looking after our big backyard. No more waking the kids early to go to before school care, so we can all be at work early. No more vacation care for them. No more of my husband sitting in traffic trying to get home before 6.30pm and finally arriving in a not so good mood.We will be not more than minutes from anything. When I talk to people we know, I can't help but think they all sound a bit envious. We are actually getting to live our dream, going somewhere that is peaceful, and is a beautiful part of Australia untouched by fast food outlets and traffic lights. |
