| I had many dreams about Australia since I was 7 years old and found out I was adopted and my family lived there. After my marriage broke up there seemed no reason why I couldn't join my real family in Australia. I only intended on staying in Oz for a year as I was on a student Visa. I wasnt prepared to fall in love with the place. Then followed a very difficult time of getting my perm resident visa. I eventually got it and next week I become a Australian Citizen. I am so happy that words cannot describe how I feel. My life has really changed since moving here. I was a factory worker in England and now after study I work in a lovely office within the finance industry. I have never been happier. I am still single but i know the right man is out there because it is another of my dreams. Dont ever let anyone tell you dreams cant come true... Believe me they do...I am proof of that and the odds were really stacked against me. Sharon ( Toowong Brisbane) |
