Greeting from Coffs Harbour jkarklis, it's fantastic that you guy's are getting out of the city ;-)
Coffs is a great place to live and like any other place it has it's fantastic features and some not so fantastic. The weather is terrific, autumn and spring are awesome here. The beaches are fantastic, bush walking and just nature itself, fantastic.
Another added feature is your rellies can come and visit so you won't miss one and other to much.
We lived in Brisbane for 3yrs and I found it quite pleasant. The city is easy to get around, meaning not spread out, traffic can be totally c r appy though. Loved shopping at Carindale and going to China Town for some duck mmm...mmm.
The only thing I miss is the choice of shopping that Brizzy offered :- (
If you have any questions please feel free to ask here

| We are serioulsy looking at moving from Brisbane to the Coffs Coast. Viewing some houses this weekend in fact... Would love to hear any stories, good, bad and inbetween. I have an 8 year old and a 14 year old (who thinks its the end of civilization and will hate me forever and a day - her words!). But I am seriously over the 'big' city, nasti/inconsiderate people, fast cars and other general yuckiness! The only hic cup I forsee is that I have been very close to my family (not my husbands, we never see them) - so I wonder how I will cope without them. Though I am outgoing and hopefully would relish in it and make new friends.... Please tell me your stories. |
