| Haven't gone yet. Had to hold it off until we sold our house and our son is finishing Uni this year too. | Hi, I'm a registered nurse and my husband a maintenance fitter. Since hearing Ford Geelong's proposed closure my husband and I have decided to take the plunge and move to a better future. We have chosen to sell up everything and move to Mount Isa where he plans to work for the mining industry. Our eldest daughter is staying behind, our son (in the process of his last year at Uni) cannot come because there is no Uni there. Our youngest daughter is leaving friends behind. We are leaving friends and my Mother behind.. all to start completely new! I have been keeping a blog of our events since our decision last year. I'd love to hear from anyone who has done similar. Especially to be so isolated going from living close to a beach into Outback Aus!
