| Just read all the bits you wrote on Delegate cause I'm looking for nice places to go fly fishing etc. Is the delegate river ok to canoe on ? It sounds like a great little place that I came from in Tassie. Love to buy somewhere where there is trout....Don |

| Hi Delegates a friendly town, with a hospital, two service, stations,panelbeaters, theres also a great takeaway which makes excellent pizzas, an IGA SUPERMARKET, plus a few other business's. schools consist of a pre-school, primary, and high school is in Bombala a 20 min bus ride for the kids, there will be a new timber mill opening soon employing up to 300 people, you can still pick up property under 200k. Property, in this area has skyrocketed over 1000% in the past 5 years, as many other small towns in a proximIty of 3 hours from a major city. HOPE THIS INFO HELPS |

| I have driven through that part of the country and it is great. Good luck with it all and more people should get into moving away from the city if work allows it. We are moving in 18mths but up north , just out of Armidale NSW |

What primary/ High Schools would be close enough to Delegate? what council is the town under? The pictures of the area look amazing & at the moment there is some good r/estate options. | I moved to Delegate 7 years ago and ever since then, Life has had meaning, i really recommend IT if you havent been here, to come down and spend a few weeks. Its heaven on earth, MILES AWAY FROM THE NOISY POLLUTED CITIES. iTS JUST MAGIC WHEN IT SNOWS.SURROUNDED BY BEAUTIFUL PINE TREES AND TROUT FILLED RIVERS,This place is 2 and half hours from the captial city canberra, JUST OVER AN HOURS DRIVE TO THE SAPPHIRE COAST AND ONE HOUR FROM JINDIBYNe. Theres not many houses for sale here but occaisionally one does pop up. Anyhow once you get to know a few people its unreal you feel glad to be alive. |
