you are a idiot i think all local authorites , emergency service crews and the ambulance should be notified the second you leave the driveway oh and docs ive seen you bbq and the fire brigade should follow you around. for work i hear your quite the handyman and one hell off a painter even cutting in around furniture so work shouldnt be a problem.

It also depends where you are starting off, I would travel the coast in the warmer months and go inland in cooler months. All up the East coast is beautiful, but north of Gladstone you get stingers in the summer months. Hav'nt been to the West coast , supposed to be magnificient with unbelievable scenery, plenty of work in WA in the mines.

I know youre probably looking to get away somewhere a bit different but dont know anywhere too secluded and too far away from life. most kids usually find it a bit boring.

Re:Travelling With Kids Reply to this message
yep I reckon your wife will get a job anywhere, heaps of work in Mackay (labourer and men type jobs) but absolutely NO accommodation but you have the camper. Don't even stop in Bundaberg to look for work, everyone is at The Big Q (at Centrelink). You could look at the Australian Jobsearch site to get an idea of what jobs are available.

Travelling With Kids Reply to this message
Planning a trip around this great country of ours with wife, 4 children & a campervan. Looking to rent out our home & for me to get to know & enjoy my kids better. Looking to leave middle of this year 07. Wanting any feedback from others who have done or are doing similar thing at present to give us ideas (best way to head, places to stay, what type of work is easily available when travelling, places of interest etc)
