| Six weeks ago my husband left to start our sea change. He's taken up a Chef's position in the most beautiful part of the world. All is going well so far and we intend to follow once the children complete High and Primary schooling next year. We had no intention of moving from our current home but when we had holidays in Tassie 4 years ago, we kept going back for holidays. It's a huge move from the north coast and scary but if you don't try you'll always be wondering what if ?. I'm sure there will be difficult times along the way but it will be worth it. At the moment communication is a bit tricky because of isolation but thank goodness for email. Tassie is so relaxed and the people are friendly. I find when you tell people all they think about is the cold! usually they haven't been there, so then you tell them all about the open log fires, beautiful scenery and fabulous food. Good luck to anyone thinking of moving, talk through the pros and cons and plan, plan, plan.....Fiona. Northern Rivers. |
