| No it wasn't the wrong result. The smell of sour grapes in here is overwhelming. Well done to Mark - he deserved to win. BTW whoever it is that keeps going on about not being able to understand the song so he shouldn't have won - *rolls eyes* - which song do you mean? Nessun Dorma ("No-one shall sleep")??? It's from Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot. You want to know what it means look it up on the net - there's stacks of translations - it's a bit well-known. |

| As an American watching over the internet, I agree that the results were expertly disappointing. Mark and Jal were good singers to be sure, but all six other acts delivered much better performances. | I don't think it was a wrong result. He was a big fav for many since the very beginning and he's got talent. I would personally have loved to see Will or Danik take the crown but Mark is a fantastic performer. |

| People, this show doesn't make 'stars'. Who really cares if the result is right or wrong? In 18 months time the majourity of these people will be nobodies... |

| yeah thats what I said, well at least I think I did, may have had a few too many "decider drinks" LOL.... Auditions were last year right up until early December. |

| Mark was young once too, dont forget that, and has his voice turned bad - NO!!! Why pick on Jal cause he's only 12, his voice will only get better with age. |

| Most of you are obviously lacking a few brain cells if you think Jal was the better singer. The timing of EVERY SINGLE one of his songs was out. It was like listening to the song in slow motion. But there was method to Jals madness. It's how you teach singing when kids are first starting out. Start slowly, drag out the notes, and then fine tune. Every single song was FAR too slow, and every note drawn out far too long. Then there was his lower register which is non existant, and his upper register which turned into a high pitch shriek. He lacked vibrato completely in his voice and showed Australia he is not ready, but went for the cute kid vote. Every song choice was in the same key and pitch, and while he could hold a note, it wasn't held in the correct pitch. Anyone with a musical ear or a degree in music could pick up on this almost instantly. I'd be keen to hear Jal sing an up tempo song, or one that relies on actual skill. |

| I also heard somewhere that his Grandfather died in 2007. Keeping in mind that last year was 2008. Talking about his Grandfather all the time made for a real sob story,so I dont know why everyone was having a go at Nobel. |

| I think it was a great grand final, right down to the order in which they all left. Going by youtube popularity, the first one that left had the least amount of hits on youtube right up to Mark who was a hit. Well Done Mark and Little Jal, you are going to go far!! |

| cas_572000 Why do you keep yelling with capitals to get your point across, just because you did notundertstand the song did not mean he shouldn't win. The standing ovation he got last week, including the judges and the tears in people's eyes showed what a talent he had. I agree his voice will only improve.
