| Looks like you hit the nail on the head!... not unlike the granny who hits herself in the head with spoons. For the final I would like to do the act with her and hit her in the head with spoons :) Lead Tablespoons being my instrument of choice :) It is a shame that a truly talented person like James ended up missing out because of 1) a decision by the judges (as per instructions from their producers) to ensure maximum $$$ from sms / 1900 voting and 2) to an act that has little or no realistic entertainment value. ie: who's going to say "Let's all go down the club for dinner then watch someone hit themself in the head with a spoon for 2 hours!!"...that ain't talent or entertainment ... and 3) to an act who poses as amateur undiscovered talent but then is found to be internationally renowned guitar sensation with an album under his belt and gigs booked beyond xmas. Seriously... that an absolute travesty. |

| I read somewhere else that 1) Jordain has the same singing teacher as "Bonnie" who won last year and that that singing teacher has some connection to someone behind the show 2)Smoking Joe is not an amateur at all but a professional who has already recorded an album, is about to record another in the US, has been coached by Tommy emmanuel , has a contract and plays at the basement regularly. This whole show stinks to high heaven! What a frigging scam! |

| I agree, showdownthetube. What is influencing the judges votes? The whole Jordan thing smells fishy to me. Sorry, the kid can sing but there were others that were better than him. With more coaching and experience, he will probably go far. As for last night, my vote goes to James. At the beginning of the series I said I didn't want a singer to win, but after hearing him I change my mind. | Here we go again. Last week it was Jordain, this week it was spoony. Now what we find is that the 2nd best act is going to miss out. I felt sorry last week for that band and the beat boxer, this week I see that James Kerr wont make it to the semis because we pick some spanner (spoony nanna). If is obvious how the judges want the voting to go. The entire back end of the show was based around smokin joe. Sorry James but its all over. The semis are as far as you go just like some of the acts from last week. |

| James Kerr is a wonderful person, as anyone who knows him will tell you. The fact he can sing and in tune makes him gifted. He has far more talent, God given talent than most of the people on Australian tv, and so-called "stars" like Minouge who carries on over that wood-chopper like an idiot, only doesnt like James cos hes a kiwi. When and James sings Maori songs and with his family who are all amazingly talented, it sends shivers up your spine. James has all that is required to win this talent show, and if he doesnt, then it is certainly not because he is not talented. Its because of erratic and poor voting choices. | There were a couple of tuning issues with James, as Dannii said, but as she can only sing one genre (unless someone can correct me), I don't think she has room to talk. The man can only improve, where can she go? You can't trade on so called sex appeal forever ;) |

| YES I agree, James was fantastic and always is! who the hell is Danni to say there were "tuning" issues?? she cant sing unless she's in a studio?? That really makes me angry. I bet she's never sung in front of judges. Why is she even a judge on this show. She has no talent. I must say, I am very proud to have james sing at my wedding in november. |
