I have been watching this thread to see what was written and I don't believe I am writing this.
There will always be people that don’t like what they see hear and they have a right to say what they think and there is always going to be people that like what they see and hear and they have a right to say what they think. This is the type of business where a thick skin is needed.
A rock band on TV will never sound like they sound when they are performing live with a couple of hundred people cheering them on and singing along to their favourite song. I suggest to anyone that wants to put some one down when that person is putting it on the line that they try it, it’s not that easy, until a person has performed live , (with no second chance to get it right and not much fold back) then and only then should they be able to criticise.
A wise man once said, the only thing worse than people talking about you is no one talking about you. |

Killer Queen remains the ultimate Queen Tribute band: top performers, killer musicians - and their attention to detail is nothing short of astonishing. To all those who debase them and run them down, it seems a moot point, as it's very clear that they are the most seasoned group to ever take on a show that actually looks and sounds like Queen. Killer Queen has set the bar very high for tribute acts, so unless you can heighten the bar further, it's best to keep spiteful comments to yourselves. Killer Queen actually gives credibility to the Australian music industry, and having worked with them ourselves, we know what a professional and generous group of guys they are.
Respect as always,
Gabe Phoenix and Bronwen |

| It's quite ironic really that Killer Queen had to sqeeze their act into 90 seconds and that's how long the real Queen got on Saturday Night Live when they did that same song. Rock on! |

Very harsh. No doubt an ex employee not even a rival Queen band would be so ugly with their comments. Queenies are not like that. Are you a member of the Aussie Queen fan club?
Killer Queen performed for not even a for a minute almost 3 weeks ago. They did a great job.
You put yourselves out there Killer Queen, and that is more than what i have ever done. It was great to see you on the TV. You are a wonderful tribute to Queen, i also like the guys Boh Rap in Perth.
Well Done see you in Sydney fingers crossed.
Regards

That's great, Mary. What part of England? Our keyboard player is form England and his parents went to the Wembley concert as well. We would love to come to England, love English people. Thanks to Australia's Got Talent our Sydney Management is in talks with some people from the UK,US and Japan as well.
At the end of the day we don't do nothing else only mimick greatness. We consider ourselves lucky that we can do this and when we see people's faces after a show and see the joy QUEEN's music brings to their heart....well that right there is the reason for us to do this. If you interested and have some spare time find us on youtube, won't be hard, and see what we do how we do it and how many real QUEEN fans we have on our side simply because we know our place we know we didn't create these musical master pieces and off stage we certainly don't think we are QUEEN.
Maybe one day we will meet, it would be lovely,
Until then,
Respectfully Yours,
Chubby |

Ok!
I kind of had enough. Mary your comment went just a bit too far. You are adorable though.
Nobody said that QUEEN can be substituted. Did you actually see QUEEN at Wembley or just saw the DVD? I saw QUEEN at their Historic Hungarian concert. I have been a QUEEN fan since 1978,their JAZZ album. I have named my son Freddie. If I ever had a girl her name would be Queenie.
Yes I am a mad QUEEN fan.
Now tell me which part of the song that we had to edit could you not recognise? If you look for QUEEN doing the same song on youtube on Saturday Night live you will see how they performed it. They had fun with it, just like we did, Freddie's voice kind of went funny at places.
QUEEN hasn't been in Australia since 1985, UNFORTUNATELY they will never be able to come back with the original line up ever and they failed to come here with Paul Rodgers twice now. It's us and other QUEEN tribute shows that keep this little illusion alive. Now there is only 3 here in OZ including us. Out of the three of us we play everything LIVE! What am I saying with that you figure it out. All we want to do is bring memories back to people that saw QUEEN, and introduce the music to people that don't know it yet. Believe me there is a lot of youngsters that come to our shows and enjoy it so much they go and get their hands on some QUEEN records. So maybe in your opinion we have failed, in my opinion we haven't. Maybe one day you will come to one of our shows, I'd like to meet you in person and get your opinion after the show. We do have some people here that hide behind usernames but we know who they are and they just want to stir the pot here and once you see a negative message it is quite easy to write another one of those instead of watching that clip again analyze it and come to the conclusion that people in the theatre including the judges enjoyed that 90 seconds of a 2.5 minute song and admit that you enjoyed it too.
Peace,
Chubby (Drummer of KQ) |

Killer Queen were Excellent, we must see if we can get them to play here at Broadway in Chicago once the show Rain: Tribute to the Beatles is over in March, Killer Queen are the closest sound and look to the Original Queen. Suggest you do the Research like i did!
Good luck Guys with the show and hope to see you soon in USA! |

| I saw Queen at Wembley Stadium, there can be no substitute, if you are going to do a tribute, get it right and sound like the originals, you failed in this department. |

Darling, I have seen many tribute bands around the country who are far better than the killer queen band I saw on TV.
Who has recognized this band as Australia's best tribute band apart from yourself ?
I have seen worse, but I have also seen far better. I agree with Tom!! |
