| Haha jacki, it's funny you say that. After watching the boys on Australias Got Talent, I did the exact same thing, ended up listening to out-takes of freddie singing bohemian rhapsody, vocals only. Was amazing, really appreciate his talent more than ever. THANKS killer queen :-) |

| Kojack, I find your posts long and painful however I will need to make allowances now that I know your are a fan of Bowie and Freddi. The lady you refer to in Bowies video of Under Pressure is absolutely awesome so is Bowie for that matter. |

| I didn't see the ep of AGT that you guys performed on so I watched your youtube vid and then decided I needed to refresh my memory about Freddie to compare with your performance. So I wandered off to Youtube and started to do that yesterday - ....and today I'm STILL following "related video" links of Freddie Mercury and Queen - I just got addicted and can't stop myself. I've been through every kind of emotion imaginable - I'm exhausted!!! I was in tears watching his last studio vid and gasping in awe at the vid of Mercury performing Barcelona with some really famous Opera lady and just blown away by the duet with Bowie.... It just goes on and on. I didn't realise there was so much of his and Queens stuff that I've missed. Eventually I ended up getting distracted into watching Bowie vids - and especially one of Bowie performing Under Pressure with a fantastic chick taking on Freddy's part of the duet. Not only is she unbelievably great but it also highlighted even more how incredible Freddy was - to have his part sung by a woman with a powerfully high vocal range - and even then she's only just matching his power. Her name is Gail Ann something-or-other and she is absolutely wonderful. Anyway...... now that I've wasted my entire weekend I'm another two days late getting in my Uni assignment. And it's all your fault Killer Queen. I hope you're satisfied...... :) |

| I thought Australia was a democracy where one could air their opinions publicly, well it would seem I was wrong, by reading all these comments, I see only positive comments are allowed. Who votes for Best Thai restaurant? Is it the greater minority that frequent that restaurant or is it a public forum, I was never asked to vote for Best Thai restaurant but I did get an email asking me to vote for Killer Queen on the show. I have also had a look at a band members you tube that was advertised on the previous Killer Queen thread that was deleted, with their Australias Got Talent Video clip and it seems to be the same people commenting there as it is here, there is also another identical you tube film clip with 3 times as many visits and only 1 comment. Self promotion is a good thing. But be prepared for the ones that dont like what you do. They have a right of reply. I see a few members of this group have made a few positive statements. Again, self promotion is a great thing, only when it is done with taste, they have done one thing and that is to keep this topic at the top of the list with silly little comments that mean nothing to anyone and I am helping that cause. It's called diversity in the market place. Yes it is, but it has to be better that all the others to survive. I do hope they better themselves. It is apparent that anyone that writes something that is not popular with a few selected people, they are chastised for saying what they believe, and surely that gives me and anyone else that does not agree with something the right of reply? This should keep you guys at the top of the list. Your welcome. As for me getting hit by a bus, I appreciate your concern and will look left then right then left again. |

| A friend of mine told me there was heaps of chatter about this, so I had to check it out. I, too, feel compelled to reply to badloser. Mate, I'm sure you're aware that Slumdog Millionaire won best Oscar recently.....so does that mean that the people of Mumbai should never make a movie again? Keith Urban has been voted Best Country Performer.....does that mean Aussie blokes should never pick up a guitar again? There's a Thai restaurant around the corner from that's been voted Best Thai restaurant......guess what.....I get my Thai from another place. It's called diversity in the market place. I was born in England, and although we're not well known for much other than bad weather and teenage pregnancies, we are smart enough to realise that there is probably gonna be a difference between Killer Queen, and Killer Queen AUSTRALIA!!! We are aware that Australia exists. We probably sent your Great Great Great Grandfather there. Now by all means badloser, have an opinion, but don't publicly write off talented, driven, courageous people who are out there trying to better themselves! And by the way, I'll be the first to admit that Aussies are pretty much better than Poms in everything they do.....A Queen tribute band will just be something else to add to list. All the best mate. | That is true there is a UK band with a similar name but visit the website. You will see not only that the members look and sound nothing like the original Queen (especially the so called Freddie) but do a little more research and you will find their act is very cheesy. If you like listening to backing tracks then you will probably like it. Killer Queen Brisbane is totally live. In fact Brian May himself said "Outstanding! Help! I've seen too much" when he saw it. I doubt you will find similar high profile quotes on the UK Killer Queen website. I think they have a couple of quotes from journalists or something. When Australian Killer Queen tour the UK they will do so under the name "The Australian Killer Queen". In fact we are dealing with the same management as them so there will be no infringment. |

As for there comments about possible US and UK tours... as if that will happen. There are far bigger and better Queen shows in those countries, all of them theatre standard...not Australian Rsl club shows. | I thought Killer Queen were great. Disappointed they're not in the semi's. (which I thought you were if you got two yes's??? - Seems to me Channel 7 takes their viewers for saps) I'd have liked to have seen them do another song or two. From one QUEEN fan to the band - loved your work. And was very impressed with the effort gone to with those costumes. Nice work! |

| OMG..dreadful bit over the top isn't it?,get a grip! First of all if there was only a few people in the world that could burp it would be a talent! Secondly there are no mental midgets on the show that i have seen yet.And i will watch the whole series. Hoop-jumping cattle dogs don't even know that they are at a gig!, let alone know that they are being spoken about on a message board.So they won't be upset, unless Dr Doo Little has a word with them. b.whiddett was simply defending Killer Queen and the boys as i am no harm done, you shouldn't read this thread if your so easily offended. Remember Tom is a impersonator. And your an amazing person if you have epanded your own horizons and have never belittled another performer.Truly very Mother Tereasa of you well done. | I don't think that's what b.whiddett was trying to say and in no way was trying to offend. It's just a bit like a circus this year. Sure some of those acts are great one episode but the next time they perform they have nowhere to go with it. I'd also like to say that Gabe Phoenix is a fantastic Elvis impersonator. Anyway, don't think I'll watch anymore of "Australia's Got Circus Clown Talent" this year. |

To all you mums and dads out there who are giving their children so much praise, remember it is not healthy to tell your kids that they are the best. | O.k, I viewed the footage again, and it's clear to all that Killer Queen are top-ranking professionals - Live, they are even better. Let us remember that Australia's Got Talent incorporates hoop-jumping cattle dogs, burping teens, and other assorted mental midgets who vulgarise the credibility of truly talented performers, like Killer Queen.
