| Never mind about it being a 'woman thing', you'd have been amazed at how many men were at the concerts this weekend, and also how many in the audience were quite young. Just shows that he really does appeal to all ages with all types of songs. |

| Hi Beco et al I probably could Beco, but I also want to see & hear Yvonne Kenny. My introduction to Opera (outside the family) or more precisely opera singers was Yvonne Kenny. Believe it or not,I heard of and recognised Yvonne before Dame Joan. Showing my age, aren't I! I realise the concert is probably more important, but can we be guaranteed Yvonne & David will sing again at future Christmas at the House. Never having been to one before, I don't know. |

| andie - have you already booked for 'Christmas in the House'? No doubt that will be on again in future years, as in the past, but the November concerts sound like they will be something very special. Perhaps you have a friend who would like to go to the December concert, so you could go in November? |

| David has been very busy (in both opera and recording) since he and Julia Morris won the last series, and his latest CD - A Little Closer - is due for release on October 4. In conjunction with this release David will be performing in two spectacular concerts at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on November 21 and 23 - with Chong Lim as Music Director. Priority bookings have just opened at http://www.sydneyoperahouse.com/priority/davidhobs on.aspx (without the gap in hobson!) so, ITT fans of David, here's your chance to see him in what is probably his biggest solo gig to date! |
