| Maybe we should try the Golden Rule. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Or, what were those other bits? "Loving you friend is easy, but what you should do is love your enemy." and "When hit on the left cheek, turn the other cheek." Maybe something non-biblical, like "teaching by example" or "Not getting your knickers in a twist". Now, following those precepts will win respect. |

| Who really cares about the Paralympics Team and their Send off? All of the performers who are donating their time and skills to the Concert care. All the patrons who buy tickets (including some of the posters to this Message Board) care. The general public and politicians who are happy for tax-payers' money to be used to support the athletes care. The other thing I raised was a comment related to Erika Heynatz which bore upon whether or not she would be co-host of the next ITT series. Some people care about that. Actually I am not one of them. I don't know why "mature" people waste their time telling you that you are "immature" and to "go home". It seems a very immature thing to do, like a primary school playground jibe of "Yah, you can't play with us. Your Daddy and Mummy haven't got a car with automatic windows." (That's one that a poor little kid in my daughter's First Class had thrown at her by the ruling junta.) |

| Actually Annie, had David Hobson or Anthony Callea's names been mentioned as performers at this Charity Concert there would have been a flurry of activity and a deluge of responses because these are the only two names known to two large, and not entirely disparate groups, on this Message Board. Now that I have mentioned the two magic names let's see what cascades in :-). If it is any consolation to you, immaturity is something that most people grow out of. It's chief symptom is the inability to spell correctly. |

| Hi annief9627, What did your "does anyone care?" mean? Were you wondering why no one was interested in a Charity Concert for the Paralympics Team? Were you suggesting that you "couldn't care less"? I think that this was the interpretation that Daph put on your post because "Who cares?" is what teenagers often say to parents who are telling them not to dye their hair purple because the neighbours will misjudge them. Because no one replied to my post with any reference to what I said probably meant that either they did not read it, or they took on board the information and perhaps went and bought tickets, or they live in another state, or I annoy them anyway so they like to ignore me. Who cares why? Well I don't. |
