| Cathy I went to The Ipswich and Cleveland shows last weekend. Both nights were different. Irwin Thomas (Jack Jones) was fabulous, entertaining and a great strong voice. Tania was warm and talented. Jon Stevens acoustic set was very good.The 2 guitarist were magnificent. Ian's electric, 3 piece was classic Chisel and some of his "hit" solo material. He was complimented by a master drummer and a hot double bass. Fantastic showcase of Australian talent, 3+ hours for $50 was well worth the trip to QLD. I will see the show at Belmont and the ACT, because it was a great piece of entertainment. For anyone else still following this thread "Do yourselves a favour". |

Twoleftfeet Were the people that come to see Ian. Unfortunetly were the dissapointed people who get our shows wrecked Stevens singing Georgia with dreadful,Cringable vocals & vocal style. Some people just dont have & never will have the right vocal, vocals style or approach to a song comfort zone you may say . It isnt jons & never will be dosnt matter how mutch he tries to cash in on the Mossy chisel crowd with his overated singing vocal style. just love to hear Ian sing it. We stand listen & watch this dissapointment This is all for the stevens crowd. we will not be made a Stevens crowd I dont care who stevens has sung with Cause we come for Quailty something he will never be. We just don't understand we love the bands shows & miss them. & don't even know why there are no more band shows. To take away the message board before the finals. around the time virginia said something about julia & this tour so no one can say anything about it or against it. Theres plenty to hide isn't there. |

| With the commercial trash Jons put out in the years I could not for anyone respect that. Ian should bring back his band a 2ish hour show that would be a real show. |

| Cathy, I don't actually listen to that kind of music because I like my music classical, but I do hear it on the radio sometimes. I'm really not able to judge the singers you listen to but I remember when Jon Stevens replaced someone in some group and thought he sounded nice. I never heard the other singers you have been mentioning, sorry. I feel sure Ian removed his forum board for a good reason and I respect his right to do so. I don't think he would have done it just to upset you so please don't take it personally. |

| Daph I hadn't seen your comment further down this list I think its more a matter of the of them both being on the same label & the company pushing Stevens Trash on the Mossy Crowd. We had to pay for his Stevens trash band shows wern't even there for him. & We didn't even get a band show with Ian. Tell me truthfully do you like that take me back lovetown song the beginning is so awful actually the whole song is awful. & others how about that song he holds the sound near the end goes way off key people clap but is so awful is that called singing?? Im applled the first 2 or 3 songs his old songs & latest covers Accoustic album you wouldn't give a listen to album fillers a very average album. Ian should know who best to sing his style of music Ians Cold Chisel & Solo stuff of Georgia so nice to listen to In this case Jon stevens isn't right listen to that short clip of Georgia on the net . Its dissapointing to have to hear Jons awful singing in this song some people are never suited to certain singing styles & songs & will never have the right voice for them. Should Bring back the band shows they are mutch more alive & exciting than this . |

| I Never saw that every thread was chased & answered. cause they wern't they were about the subject it clearly was not spam as unrelated to the subjects Havn't you heard of constructive critisism How could anyone give a ballenced fair constructive comment If the fan controlling the site deleted postings to suit herself & her friends. She couldnt take constructive critisism she wouldnt even let things be posted. & if they did stay for a while she deleted things when she decided that cause they wern't answered she took it to make her own statement to delete things. instead of leave them alone so thats her attitude she would not let things be said. |

People getting exposure to Mossy who otherwise wouldn't; and I can guarantee that a fair portion of those will walk out and buy his album on the strength of his performances. Why are these people competing on this show This is a singing forum a place to talk & judge things these people are here to be judged Just when the finals are happening it Dissapears No one can talk there obviously nothing was to be said about this show the up & coming tour or anything else . SO DONT ACCUSE ME. Ian made it close to the finals not close enough & apparently virginia had said julia was suppost to be voted off the next week & maybee julias fans didn't like that so anything can happen. | I have always loved Jon's singing and had never heard of Ian Moss till 10 weeks ago. I suppose they like each other's work or they wouldn't sing together, and I think Ian should know better than any of us about who can sing his style of music. | I couldn't care how my literatecy bothers you I will do as I like. You understand me Personally Its not up to you if I go to a show or not I don't care if you go or not. At least we agree a 2 hour show would be prefered But Ians the main reason why people are going so Ian should have the longest showing on stage. 8 to 10 or so songs hardly makes it worthwhle just hardly warms up then its finished. How is that fun & a great show when it hardly gets going. I wouldn't be at an Ian show for the others. Don't abuse me for posting you don't know of if their mine or not they could be anyones poeple are entitled to their opinion. so what if they believe in freedom of speech I do too. | Cathy, I have been reading your barely literate comments in regards to Ian for as long as I have been looking at these forums and I think that its time to pull your head in. Firstly, as has been stated before, if you don't like the shows - don't go. Personally, I'll be much happier for not having people like you there. Secondly, I would also much rather hear a two hour solo Mossy gig than these joined shows, but they obviously like touring together, seem to have fun together and at the end of the day it's their decision. There's nothing wrong with some variety. Finally, maybe if you could actually translate some of your suggestions into the english language people might take them seriously. These whining, whinging, can't-get-everything-the- way-I-want-so-screw-you, completely non-intelligable and un-punctuated spams you stick everywhere are the scourge of the net. | Come Together Jon stevens didn't do that song any justice with his unharmonic voice style leave it for the Beatles they did it in a better harmonic way. Just like Danni just cause you get on the show or Stevens may have being in the buisness for years dosn't mean Youv'e learnt to be really great at what you do. Our group would come for Ian but not come together for Jon stevens. We want to buy t/shirts & things of Ians but their grafetied with jon stevens whos had nothing to do with lets get together so cannot even buy the t/shirt I won't the others in my group although dissapointed buy them cause they adore Ian as a great example of Ians work we are dissapointed. We stand there in amazement with Stevens singing Georgia his unharmonic unmelodic singing ia awful Ian singing it on his own is so mutch nicer & harmonic melodious & beautiful Ian should bring back his Electric band shows. & the Message board but suppose Forcing Stevens trashy unharmonic stuff on us & didnt Win you take away the message board don't let anyone say anything & you force jons awful stuff on your crowd & they object to it they like him less. . |

| Harmony I am going to two of the shows this week. I am a big fan of Ian's but enjoy any good music. I will get back to this board with my reactions to the shows. Bearing in mind that I'm going with an open mind about having the 4 performers on stage in various combinations. |

| These lets get together shows A 40ish minute showing for Ian people mostly there for Ian about 8 to 10 songs hardly makes it worth going for since Ian is the Main act why most people are there. Why not the decent 2 to 2 & half hour shows without supports why dosn't Ian bring the band anymore . why not a decent 2- 1/2 show Jon stevens unharmonic unmelodic trashy way of singing is a waste of everyones time with stevens he has had nothing to do with it lets get together so why is he there with his old old album nothing new not that is average music singing is even good. & the forum that fanatic Ian fan wouldn't let anyone write anything unless it was her friends. & deleted other peoples posts for her satifaction of her friends dont let anyone say just rip[ us off with Jon stevens trash when we miss the band & dont even tell us why you dont bring the band anymore .. |

| Jon Stevens looks a lot like Kurt Russell solmer Please test your eyes your seeing things tripple dose the diswashing liquid & wash your glasses (works well on sunglasses at least) & wash them again don't forget to put them on & look again Kurt Russel noooooo way kurt Russel is a trillian times better looking than Stevens could ever be probably able to sing better too. & becoblue Kurt Russell does live with Goldie Hawn, but they're not married. Thanks for clarifying that minor detail something I never knew. Actually now I think about it theres a few friends I know of living like that seems to be the modern day thing. |
