| Amanda Pelman bio is same as Ian "Molly" Meldrum that appeared on Popstars which is copyright. Ian "Molly" Meldrum formed his own record label, Melodian, with Michael Gudinski. They later collaborated on a new label, Luxor. Which both appeared on Surprise Surprise talking about new record label. Countdown was on ABC TV program showcased the finest, the newest, the up-and-coming of local and overseas recording artists. | Billy Idol appeared at Countdown Awards. I don't remember seeing dances on Countdown. They had a footage on ABC Spicks And Specks this week no dances. Least I am watching Kylie Minogue story on Foxtel which is true and they said nothing about Amanda Pelman which I find her real given surname. I rest my case. | musicman - in the memorable moments section they talk about Billy Idol and the problems he caused for the dancers - if there were no dancers why would they write this? | Well that doesn't seem a surprise they weren't dancing to AC/DC when the poster did say the Countdown dancers weren't on all the time. And the site says there were dancers. You can't be right all the time Musicman. |

| Solid Gold had dancers not Countdown. I seem Countdown vidoe clips of The Angels, Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again. AC/DC Baby, Please Don't Go, which the video appears on AC/DC Family Video clips. Horror Movie gets shown a lot on Foxtel. I had friend who attendend Countdown and has backstage photos which I seem them and saw no dancers. Unless your referring to Countdown Revaluation, which was short live show. I check youtube and find no dancers on show. Foxtel shows Solid Gold dancers on some clipps. They do hold the right to a lot of Countdown video clipps. I even check the internet for Countdown dancers and it was zero. |

| How can you say countdown didnt have dancers? They were not on every show. I can recall one song about diamonds etc with the dancers in it. One had very long straight hair. I think the dancers were more prevalent in the later years but definately dancers on countdown. Its so simple. | I watched Countdown from 1974 to 1987. I never saw no dancers on the show. Only musicans peforming live on the show. Sometimes they do have re-runs of Countdown on Foxtel and Rage. I remember watching a special on Countdown with no dancers. You try to bang my head. But I remember they was no dancers on Countdown. Don't forget to watch Love Is Air with rare footage of Countdown coming soon. |

| My understanding is; 1. She was the co-founder of Melodian with Ian Meldrum. 5. Countdown most definately had dancers, I remember seeing them. In fact Robert Palmer's management got the idea of the women in the "Addicted to Love" clip from Countdown. I also thought that Amanda had worked in DS's London office but set up her own PR business and did promo stuff from OZ. |
