In the show he was identified as Australian when he was speaking. The only way to identify someone's nationality from their voice is by their accent. He has an English accent, so to say he's Australian didn't make much sense. They should have either made the character from England or cast someone with an Australian accent if that was the only thing that made them recognise that he was from Australia. That is really all I'm saying.

I agree, his accent is terrible. Almost as bad as Holly Valance's Czech accent. Since when was the Czech Republic in South America?

If you were born in a certain country and grew up with the accent then moved to another country, became a citizen and was influenced by your new country's accent - your accent may also be a bit muddled.... You do realise that the Australian accent is derived from the English.... Aussies do say bollocks, a lot more than people think. Don't get pent up about trivial things such as non-perfect accents and just enjoy viewing a great show.

I hate the english accent, particularly with men speaking, they sound so weak. Aussie accent is far better imo, but the should have either hired an actor with the real accent or made the character British.

I thought this guy was Australian, but it wasn't a suprise to find out he's from England because he sounds British on the show. Did he have an Australian accent on All Saints? It seems clear to me that he's unable to maintain an Aussie accent as he sounds Australian with a few words, but then sounds English. Also since when do Aussies say Bollocks? Terrible casting.
