| Exactly!! They said it was to do with the tv ratings, but for the first two seasons they were getting 10 million viewers, and that was before the show was about the company, and the show was on at 8:30pm. Apparently they're awesome viewer ratings - far higher than many other shows that continue on. Anyway, they said the reason they cancelled the show after 4 seasons was that the ratings were too low, but they were still getting 6 million viewers with a time slot at 11 or 11:30pm! Pretty damn good ratings, and I'm sure you find many other shows with ratings that high at that time of night. So do you think that it's a coincidence that the show was told it had to finish once we had heard exactly what the "Company" is all about, and after the writers had said that they will happily continue the show for as many seasons as asked? After all, we know that Company is in all levels of government and industry across the world, and so it sounds like some people don't want everyone knowing how things might actually work in the really world, and are doing what they can to pull the wool over our eyes without being too sus. The idea of the company is not far fetched, and could easily be related to the real world. And after all, why would they want to can such a successful show, esp when they were happy to give it coverage when it was just about breaking out of prison, and when the "Company" wasn't really known?? I'll leave that up to you... |

Does it really matter it if varies between half an hour?
Channel 7 always has it on their TV guide for viewers who follow the show every week so it shouldn't matter. Besides they were good enough not to make the Michael Jackson life story clash with Prison Break which was a HUGE bonus for Channel 7. |

| Prison break season 4 is already out on dvd in Australia and i have seen prison break: the final break already, before it is even on tv. Why would they release the dvd before it has even been aired on tv? |

| it was the finale of the season but they made a movie to finish off the show, in america it went straight to dvd ages ago, but apparently according to two posts before they are finally going to show it on tv over there. channel 7 is airing the movie (prison break: the final break) in two 1 hour parts so there are two more weeks of prisonbreak. |

It's been consistently on at 11:30 for the last few weeks. In Melbourne, at least.
But (apart from the god-awful timeslot) Channel 7 is actually being really kind to Prison Break -- the Prison Break: The Final Break episode is airing in the US the day before we get it here next week, which I suppose is why they waited so long to put it back on after Christmas, so we wouldn't have to wait weeks to watch The Final Break. |

| I agree - cannot believe that 7 would put this fantastic series on at such a ridiculous time and then stuff around with the time slots as well! If it had been given a permanent 8.30pm time slot, more people would have loved it like we do! |

get a PVR, it is well worth the money, then the timeslot doesn't matter.
you can't go on expecting networks to air shows that no one watches, let alone in decent timeslots, let alone close to the US airdate, let alone final seasons. |

| Channel 7 has no respect for Prison Break - last week its on at 11pm, tonight its on at 11:30. And it isnt even on the home page list of shows anymore - i had to find this page through the tv guide listings! How disrespectful to a show that while its greatest is past, it is still more exciting and deserving of decent airtime compared to soppy blah such as Greys Anatomy or Desperate bloody housewives! AAAARGHH! Im so angry! C'mon its only got like 4 eps before its finished forever and then u never have to worry about it ever again - although it looks as though the network already has! |
