well i guess they owned the rights at one point. but i guess hallmark paid enough money for them that ch7 sold them.
if my memory serves me correctly they only buy rights for year blocks. so if hallmark do not renew their rights the 1st season might fall back into ch7's hands for the summer non-ratings. but PTTR is one of hallmarks best shows so i doubt that will happen.

incase anyone was wondering this is the same reason that the DVD took so long to be released.

That's strange. Shouldn't they have the rights to repeat the show since
it's on their network. I guess it would clash with hallmark and would take away fro
their viewing but not everyone has paytv.

now might be a good time to bring up that ch7 do not have repeat rights, they sold them to hallmark channel.

but i understand the DVD is coming out in december if you want to watch it again.
