| No in another one on this site. It's just what people say when they have nothing better to say - "You're just jealous". If I were jealous I would say I was jealous, and I did, just not jealous of J Hawk. Call us 'culture snobs' if you must but most people don't think occas are suitable for television. There are people out there who actually have the skills for television who could be doing the job instead. She went from cheerleader to beauty pageant winner. How admirable. Why don't we give her a nobel prize and every cushy job imaginable? Meanwhile, what has she done by way of philanthropy? Has she done ANYTHING positive at all with her 'image'? No. And models don't have to be pretty. What has she done that people dislike her so much? She wouldn't go away. She was on everything. I guess for the same reason everyone disliked "Eddie Everywhere", I bet you were one of them. Why be jealous of someone because they're hot? Do you even read what you write? Ummmm. Because they're hot, maybe? Jealousy means feeling resentful towards someone because of an advantage that they have. I will repeat. She's hot. Earth to brain... Think before you say something that makes no sense. | I agree that Jennifer has no screen presence and like some other viewers I found her irritating but I still think she is beautiful. It's just that she wasn't right for this show. | Did anyone on this thread actually say YOU were jealous? My comment was all encompassing, not to the individual. I like Jen, I don't mind how she sounds, then again, I am not a culture snob. She had the determination to get off her butt and do something with her life, in the profession she wanted. I admire that in anyone. Miranda also seems to be a lovely girl and doing well, she's pretty enough, she'd have to be, to be modelling, but I'm more interested in what a person has to offer as a person, not in the way they look. Jen gives me the impression she'd be nice to be around, but seeing as I don't KNOW her, I can't make a definite judgement. I just don't understand the hate on some of these people, why you would "hate" someone you don't know personally. What has she got or done that you dislike her so much? Hate is a terrible word, anyway and responsible for the state of the world. Why be jealous of someone else because you perceive them as hot? That MIGHT me something about the way you feel about YOURSELF. Referring to this comment: "The only reason people LIKE her is to feel good about themselves. It's much easier to feel good about yourself when the average Jane can make it big." Miranda could be perceived as average and having made it big too. Just a thought ;) |

She should stick to having her photo taken because that's all she's good for. The only reason people LIKE her is to feel good about themselves. It's much easier to feel good about yourself when the average Jane can make it big. Give me Miranda Kerr any day. And they say that when Jen turns 30, it'll be Miranda's time. Miranda is older than Jen, just goes to show you that Jen won't have the sticking power because she looks to old. And it's not jealousy you stupids. I'm jealous of Miranda Kerr because she's hot.
