| to each his own kaiko. Basically the Logies are a personality contest I reckon. I just think Rebecca Gibney has really shown her metal for many yrs, as well as in Rafters, with very good, gritty acting roles, but, good on all the Kate fans also. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I think the Kate Richie thing has been perpetuated by the younies who enjoyed her Sally role, which doesn't necessarily make her a good actress - just a popular one! I watched some of her acting in that role, with my teen granddaughter, and neither of us thought she was a convincing actress. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Kate Richie drives me nuts, her clips during the logies were dull and lifeless. She has one tone and Australia has much better talent than her. | musical_meegz, what do you mean not GOLD Logie ready just yet? She clearly was, as except for last night, she won the GOLD LOGIE, 2 years in a row! | Her acting on H&A was average (not terrible) but I think that has more to do with the dialogue and storylines she was given to act on the show. I mean, you have to admit, no one can make the c.rap H&A comes up with believable and emotional, even the best actors. However I watched her appearance on Underbelly when her husband was killed in her bathroom while she and her 2 children were in the house. I thought her acting was superb. It was a world away from Sally and I think she handled it really well. That said, I don't think she is GOLD Logie ready just yet. | I have a feeling you're not to smart. That hit me in the face and I was on to it straight away. Kate Ritchie is the worst attempted actor i have ever seen. Just because stupid teeny boppers like her and vote for her doesn't mean she can act, and coming from a show like home and away just proves it, it's just full on rubbish. |
