I can't stand the very obvious slant towards the Channel Nine stable of "stars" I agree with you about 'Love my way'. It's a pity that this quality series was not shown on free to air. If you haven't seen it I urge you all to get it on dvd. |

| totally disagree with OP it's about tv....pay tv has as much right to be honored what i do think is that people should be disqualified from voting. or we should have more critic, industry voted awards, so that recognition is given to high quality shows (as opposed to cr@pola like rove and rove live) some of the best shows that have ever existed have come from cable. this is prime example in america. in australia, i know of "love my way", an outstanding drama |

| We refuse to pay for extra tv stations to be included on our tv. If they are Australian based shows then they should be included in the Logies. Why wouldn't they? If they could give a Logie to the most popular overseas programe then why not give one to pay tv programms. |

| I agree with you originally the logies were for the normal channels. Pay T.V has already got the Astra awards why should they get into the Logie awards. The high majority of people can't even afford pay television especially the people living in flats so why should the pay T.V programs get to the logies at all. |

| The Packers already has a 25% stake in Foxtel. The awards are not for free to air TV only, but Australian Entertainment industry on Television, which includes Foxtel and even stations like Briz 31. Which I don't think has ever been nominated, but they are included if they produced anything to fit the catergory to be nominated. |

| Bear in mind TV Week and the Logies are the property of the Nine Network James Packer has made it very clear of his desire to expand into pay TV Introducing pay TV into the Logies comes as no surprise |

| While there is a point that not eeryone has access to pay TV, the Logies are awards for Australian TV PRODUCTIONS irrespective of where thay are screened. Given the smaller pool of viewers, the shows on pay TV must have some very loyal supporters to win. |
