Yahoo7 have pulled the 1st episode part 2 from viewing. I live in Melbourne & cannot view it. Has anyone else found this. Where else can I view part 2 online?

no you don't need a HD one, but you do need to live in or at least in the broadcasting area of sydney, adelaide, melbourne, brisbane, perth or in QLD, if you are a PRIME viewer you will not be able to get 7TWO yet.

Paying only minimal attention to ads, and often leaving the room entirely, I missed those more informative ads. It seems you pay a lot of attention to ads as evidenced by your knowledge of ad content and use of grammar / spelling 'zero2hero10'
------------------------- ---------------------

Well i thought it was pretty obvious and i too dont watch adds.... Its a bit hard not to miss the whole song thing they do with the new channel (i can actually hear it in the background now) "yes its time" song.
Oh and by the way i didnt know i was writing an essay. My grammer and spelling is a sh!t load better then a lot of other posters. At least i dont use text talk

I agree, I love it being on 72 at a reasonable time, less adds and at the scheduled time. How amazing that it started at 8:30 instead of say 8:37???, like the other channels.

AT LEAST WE GET PRIMETIME NOW
Some people are never satisfied.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE 7TWO THEN WATCH ONLINE
Yahoo7 provides the entire episode for free, yous obviously have the internet so watch online (I understand some still have dial up, so jst press play, then pause, then let it load. In an hour you have the ep.)

Its back. Its at a good time. I love it. Stop complaining

7 could have made it a little more obvious when advertising that the new series of Heroes would ONLY be on 7TWO (?) For the benefit of us oldies who haven't switched to digital yet. Most disappointing to be told today by students that I'd missed the first 2 episodes...
------------------------- ----------------

Im sorry but i thought it was pretty obvious. There add for hero's is followed by only on 72 with a massive 72 in the background. The promo for 72 that is shown on 7 also had an ad that showed heroes, lost, ugly betty and other shows that said that they were only on 72.

Re:disappointment about Heroes on Seven2 Reply to this message
the 2 heroes episodes that aired last night on 7two are up on the channel 7 website for online viewing, so those of you who can't get 7two yet don't have to fall behind, you can keep up online until 7two is available in your area. the old heroes eps have been up on the website for ages but that is no guarantee this season will be the same, i'd recommend that you watch it this week before the next episode goes to air just incase these episodes come down when there is a new one.

Unfortunately you heed to accept it, there are a lot of people in the same boat, we never got OneHD for many months after everyone else got it, and there were shows I would have loved to have watched on there but I accepted that was how it was and learnt to live with it.

Re:disappointment about Heroes on Seven2 Reply to this message
aignome, australia is not far behind america. the season airing on 7two is the same season that is airing in the US at the moment.

and since it is being played in double episodes we should be closer as time goes by.

Re:disappointment about Heroes on Seven2 Reply to this message
There are many shows swapping to digital and I think it is a great thing. Many shows that would normally be on a later timeslot can now be on at a decent time. The problem is the 5% of the population that isn't yet in a digital coerage area - they always get screwed over.
Heroes is so far behind in australia anyway that I have been watching it online for free - ch7 should put it on their website to watch whole episodes like they do in the states (just to compensate for the non-digital users).

I rang channel 7 yesterday to complain about the exact thing and the answer I got was we do not own prime so it has nothing to do with us.We live in Deni and they have not even installed the digital upgrade to the antenna yet so alot of days we do not even get normal Prime.

When I saw the adds that said Heroes is back on and will be shown on Wed I went straight out and bout a set top box at DIK Smiths. Cost $396 but it has a 500gb HDD and I can record 2 channels at once while watching another. Was good because I got to watch Survivor last night.

We are in Albury Wodonga, and Prime here does not know when Seven2 will even be transmitted here. They say soon, but by that time there will most likely be 4 or 6 episodes down in the season. NOT FAIR. Transmit Australia Wide or not at all. Country viewers again get the raw deal.

just realised it might not be clear from what I just said, a HD one will give you all the SD channels as well as the HD ones but an SD one will only get you those and not the HD ones.

Re:disappointment about Heroes on Seven2 Reply to this message
yep I have heard from people in townsville, rockhampton and cairns saying they get it so it should be working throughout QLD. set top boxes are not too complicated, I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out. you can get an SD one for $40 which will get GO!, 7two, ONE, abc2, abc3, sbs2. or a HD one for $100 which will get 9HD, 7HD, ONEHD, abcHD, sbsHD, all of which currently have an SD simulcast so going HD will not actually get you any extra content right now but down the track it will and in the past it did. just read through the manual, it is not that hard to hook up to the tv, do a scan for channels and you'll get the hang of it after a while. go to www.freeview.com.au for some more information.

Hmmm... when you say 'regional' Qld, does that mean the far north as well? Not too sure about how all this new 'set top boxes' work and all these new channels and such...
