| also simon, since fringe is clashing why don't you utilize the wonderful repeats that GO! offers, I use the hell out of them. fringe is repeated at 1am thursday morning and again at 1pm thursday afternoon (the 2nd episode in the current doubles is on friday afternoon 1pm), every episode of fringe screens 3 times, heroes only gets to air once, so I catch heroes at 8:30pm wednesday and then use the repeats to catch fringe. |

simonerichmond@ymail.com said: It's HD channel not standard ya trippa :) 99 22 72 etc can only b seen on a $99hd set top box or tv
this is 100% wrong, every single digital channnel can be viewed on a standard definition set top box for $40 except for 1, 11, 20, 30, 70, 90, these are the ONLY channels that you need a HD box for, and NOTHING screens on them that doesn't also screen on an SD station. normally I would always advise people to go HD if they were going digital as the price difference isn't that big, but right now you get absolutely nothing extra by going HD over SD so if money is really tight people should know that they only need SD.
the SD stations are, 2, 21, 22, 23, 3, 32, 33, 34, 7, 71, 72, 73, 10, 12, 9, 99. I have one device that is SD only and I can view every single one of these channels, but even though this looks like a lot many of them are showing the same thing, there are 10 ones that are actually showing something unique, 11 on december 4th. if you get a HD box you will still only see 10 unique broadcasts, this may change in the future though, channel 10 is talking about using 12 for showing something other than ONE late next year. |

I feel like we've turned into a help center.
Look.
through these 3 pages we've told and repeated everything we know.
We're not professionals we can't figure out why you can't get 7two and we can't magically make it available for you.
I'm sorry that some of youse live in rural areas and can't view some of your faveourite shows but Channel 7 are still in the process of making the channel available nation wide.
Other then getting a cheap set-top box, trying your luck watching online, waiting for the dvds, scanning to check if you can pick up the channel, maybe getting a signal booster or (for you extreme fans) Move houses we can't help.
Sorry and good luck. |

seriously, why would anyone that cares enought about a tv show to comment about it on a messageboard not have digital tv?
it is very cheap for what it is. 40 bux and you have very good picture quality and 6 extra channels with no extra costs. i am far from a rich person but forking out the money for a stb was a no brainer for me
simonerichmond, if you are not willing to pay the small fund ch7 probably has no sympathy for you, and they shouldn't. |

| Agree! I am a mum of 3 n a massive lost fan. The should at least replay it later on normal 7 instead of home shoppin so ppl can at least record it to watch at their convenience.... My partner hates both shows n it coincides with fringe on 99:( very disappointed:( |

| Mr know it all do you know who owns Prime as they do not seem to answer emails or phone calls as to when they are or if they are going to be getting 72 we live in Deniliquin which by the way still runs off Analogue signal for Prime so some days we do not even get normal broadcasting just because some people choose not to over extend themselves and live in the country does not mean we have to be treated like 2nd class Australians if it was not for people that live in rural areas what would city people eat. |

| I'm upset it is 7 Two as we were only informed recently and if you don't have HD or internet you can't watch it. I am a mother of 2 under 4 years old and going to uni and I can't afford internet at home let alone spending $90 on a set top box which is the cheapest there are up here. I can't even watch it on the internet as we can't afford it and I use up my credits at uni doing study. What am I suppose to do? I'm also missing out on Lost as well. My husband is a stay at home dad which I haven't told and he is a big fan of both shows. Very, very upset. |

| I think your terminology is a bit mixed up there, if you have a VCR it will only be capable of recording analog not digital, unless you have it hooked up to a set top box. if you do have it hooked up to a set top box and are actually recording digital as you say then you can record 72 as it is just an SD digital station not a HD one. if you have any sort of digital you can get 7two (provided you live in the right area). |

| I am disappointed that Heroes is on Seven 2 because I don't have a VCR compatatible to be able to tape it. Have to watch HD channels live and tape the digital stations..... That is what is so annoying. But Heroes is back, that is all I really care. |

| probably the supermarket on special. there are SD ones for $40 everywhere, if you go to the right store or you find a sale you can get one for $30, i've never seen a $20 one but they may be around. a HD one is around $100 and freeview branded ones are more. |

Re:disappointment about Heroes on Seven2 (PREVIEW)
a set top box is $20. if you can afford internet and electricity you can afford a stb. especially if you care as much to go out of your way to send a comment on a messageboard.
sorry if the $20mthat you are inevitably going to have to spend one day is inconvienient for you but heroes on 7two is the best thing that can possibly happen to heroes for the rest of us.

Wow where do you get a $20.00 set top box from. I have only ever seen them for over $100. |

if you are in sydney but still can't get it there may be something you can do to fix it, like maybe a signal booster or something, perhaps you have already investigated all the options and are just in some kind of terrible black spot. but i'd still recommend you talk to some of the people at dtvforum and see if they know what is going on or if they have any suggestions on how to fix it.

To those who say watch it online. Yahoo7 doesn't have a very friendly video line.
Ch10 is great. You can play it through with all the stop/starts and then replay and watch it without interruption. Unfortunately, Ch7 as well as SBS have a system that makes you sit through stop/starts and it takes about 2 hrs to watch a 45 min program.
Some of you don't seem to realise, or maybe even care, that there are people out there that don't live in areas that have digital or fast internet. |
