Mate, I don't think the last season should have been their last- it was damn good and I'm excited to actually see this season.
The last season wouldn't have been too good as an ending- it didn't work out too well. And as for NBC pulling the plug, well... that's also very real, but I'm not too sure. This season only has 19 episodes, and according to some of the actor's, they've already started shooting several scenes ahead, as they always do.
I mean, the only way they'd be able to continue and finish this season is if everyone volunteered to have their salaries and such reduced so that NBC may let them continue, but with special effects and such, its still a 50 50 thing. |

the highly promoted season return of heros only had 6.27 and 5.77 for the first 2 eps. some of it's lowest ratings ever. the premiers are usually the biggest numbers so it's probably only downhill from here.
there is a very real risk of NBC pulling the plug and haulting production immediately, meaning that there will not be an ending.
i have said all along that last season should have been the final season and it looks like i was right. |
