| I think it's all about education, really, and to teach people that PTSD is not a life sentence. It's possible to heal. I like the way it's being dealt with (and to a large extent that's because Kevin McKidd is so adept at handling this material, as an actor). |

| The episode you're talking about is certainly difficult to watch because it's so real but the fact of the matter is that these things actually happen out there in the world. It's a very current issue for soldiers returning from war. I think they are doing an outstanding job tackling this difficult subject. It's being dealt with responsibly by the creative team and Kevin McKidd and Sandra Oh are just knocking every scene out of the park. |

| There's definitely alot of depth to his character, which they will continue to explore throughout the season. His budding relationship with Cristina is also full of complexities of its own. They could make a very intense couple. |

| From the moment he takes the screen, he really stirs things up and brings something fresh and new to SGH. He's a great addition for a lot of reasons. | I'm a fellow aussie but have been keeping up to date with the season 5 episodes that have aired in the US (so I've seen up to episode 13). My tip for anyone who will be tuning in for the first time next week is to keep your eye out for Mr Kevin McKidd (ex star of Journeyman and Rome). He shows up in the season premiere as Major Owen Hunt. That's all I'll say for now other than he's such a good actor and makes any scene he's in a definite must see. Hope you enjoy. K. |
