| There is no chance it will be back this year as there is an early crossover episode apparently. I dont know details only that it involves both shows but mainly is to do with Private Practice this time. I actually am pushing for a Tuesday return for both Grey's and Private Practice. It would make sense because if you think about it, while PTTR is off the air they need something solid and works well at 8:30pm and i think the Grey's combo could work now that All Saints is out of the picture; not happy Seven! I am tipping a return in February for both shows. But never to Sunday again. Its what killed its momentum IMO. |

| Private Practice has been renewed for a 3rd season in the US which will begin screening there in September/October. Channel 7 usually save other US dramas including Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy and LOST (all of which will begin airing in the US before the end of the year) for the start of the ratings period in February (2010). There is a slim chance Ch 7 may fasttrack the first 8-10 eps of the new season before the end of the year it if they run short of new material and are desperate for something to show, but highly unlikely. Private Practice rated well in its Thursday 9:30pm timeslot this year attracting on average 800,000 viewers. So if it were to return next year i would expect in similar fashion in a 9:30pm weeknight timeslot following Grey's Anatomy (although i would prefer they move both shows back to Sundays). |
