I wouldn't say poor refereeing, as I actually had taped the episode and when i watched it, i remember rewinding myself and seeing viper on the botton holding the contestant down by the neck.. pretty rough but entertaining!
I dont think contestants should be rewarded 10 points, 5 would be better and if they had scored 10 already it stays the same... thats what i would reckon.. so not the gladiators or ref's fault |

| u know i dont think its really the gladiators fault. its the refs. i did not look like nomad pulled the guy of pendulum. he was going to wrap his legs around so he could get on the challenger to get the flag but because of the weight they both fell. and it looked like the challenger was holding viper down not viper holding the challenger down!! poor refereeing i say. |

| It's so frustrating when the Gladiators break the rules and the challengers are awarded penalty points. If it was only an occasional thing I wouldn't mind, but last night's episode had THREE disqualifications- Thunder in Gauntlet, Nomad on Pendulum, and Viper on Pyramid. The challengers got more points through penalties than they did by actually winning! Plus, there has been heaps of disqualifications in the past weeks. I don't remember this happening so much in the old series. Can't the Gladiators learn the rules and stick to them? It sucks the wind out of your victories if you keep getting disqualified. |
