| yea i agree with the harness thing and how zoe has it all hanging out. but the pyramid is good. the point is the challengers getting to the top or hoe else are they gonna get points. the pyramid is tradiation!! its been in every country with gladiators and every series. who cares if the challengers dont get to the top. its always exciting when the glads tackle them and they flip all the way down. even the challenegers agree!! they always say the have fun. get over the fact they might break something. it can happen to anyone anywhere not just on gladiators. besides alot of the other events have had more people hurt themselves such as the girl who broke her ribs in hang tough, the guy who hurt his wrist on the wall and the guy who got a big gash in his knee in atlasphere. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I don't like the harness because it fails so many challengers, and whats with the waterfall? is the drought over already? What the show needs is less talk more action. My family and I just tape the show so we can fast forward all the useless blah blah. Zoe needs to stop showing us her boobies and talk about something interesting. Also, with the pyramid game, I think it should be the contestants trying to stop the gladiators getting to the top not the other way around. The game as it is ends up being boring because you know they're never gonna get to the top and that they're more than likely to break something with the gladiators bulk tackling them all the time. | the aussie gladiators is great like it is but the eliminator needs some tweeking...bring back the rolling logs and the cargo net from the oldschool series and i think it would be great they wont bring back sky track coz it didnt work as an event that tested the chalengers and it wont fit in the currant venue with all, the other stuff hanging from the roof i stay positive so i will leave it at that and say that its good as is and dont compair aus to the us or british versions as americans like to watch the refined take myself too seriously compititions (see pro wrestling) and aussies more of a light hearted poke fun at yourself comp |

| I said POSITIVE!!!! :) We've got a great show - I could see how they could work the US aspects into the current aussie show - its just either making it fit in the current venue the show is shot in or moving it to a larger arena. Either way, things can only get better! |

| LMAO... Australian Gladiators way better than the American Gladiators???... Channel 7 got it right???. I've just got a taste for professionalism... something Yahoo lacks. American Gladiators is a polished product, Aus Gladiators is a pathetic, half-assed effort. Know your product... no soppy contender backstories??? Some people like it.. it helps them know the competitors and choose who they would like to win, and if some competitors want to play the pity card, so be it. US Eliminator is hard... Aus is what they call a gym class in America. Their competitors would destroy ours head to head. It is light entertainment... and it is also a test of fitness and skill, something that the American version does better. What you call smoke, water and mirrors i call professional presentation, execution and a real final challenge. I'd rather see the competitor swim through water, not swing through it. |

| i think aussie gladiators is fine the way it is. but yea there are a couple of things that could be a bit better. yes maybe the eliminator could be more challenging. the entrances of the gladiators could be more dramatic and the music stronger. i seriously dont get why the australian has to be compared to the american one. with the water that the challengers and gladiators fall into the filming would take even longer then it already does! we should have a bit of originality here in aus. |

| the american wool has been pulled over yer eyes mate. aussie gladiators is way better than the american "highlights show" - channel 7 got it right - not too many gimmicks - smoke, water and mirrors are easy deviices to get simple audience sold. thankfully we also don't have the soppy contender backstories nor over-dramatized and over produced compeitors - their eliminator was just too OTT - they do triple cheese supreme - if you watch teh audssie one closer you'll notice the script constantly pokes fun at itself - its actually quite clever - not 2 dimaensional american tripe. btw - travelator with wet feet and without a rope is a recipe for disaster as proved in the recent uk filmings - it has been the downfall of their eliminators. aussie producers have puklled off light entertainment at its best - the american show takes itself too seriously (and quite honestly how can you take any overbuffed characters wrapped in lycra seriously?) |

| Easy... study the AMERICAN GLADIATORS... copy and paste the whole show. Their eliminator is way tougher... and i like the inclusion of the spinning and water... shake em up and make em slippery. Although i'd drop the rope from the American Travelator. Bring in all the American events, keep Powerball and the better Australian events. Hire real script writers / professionals if you want to give it that WWE flair. If you want the Gladiators to act, give em training and something to work with. Better presentation - all round... look at the american version... Their events look more professional and it isn't as cheesy as Aus Gladiators. Four Gladiators at a time... imagine the eliminator with 4 guys trying to scale the pyramid. That and you'd get ya moneys worth out of the Gladiators. (If someone is injured before the eliminator - throw a gladiator into the fray). They need to get serious.. or revive it's a knockout. |

| i heard that in the uk - the costunmes you see in the publicity pics are not the costumes they fight in - this makes sense as the publicity costumes look far too delicate and strappy for battle. i disagree on the stats screens - i alaways find these boring and a waste of time - would rather see arena action than more graphics. agree on music and skytrack. but also wanna say that i am thoroughly enjoying the new series of Gladiators - i think there is far more right than there is wrong - GO GLADIATORS! |

| I was too young to actually take in anything from the old Gladiators. But i do kinda remember seeing the stats screen and how their kinda mini bio thing came up with their face that would be good to have. Although its not positive, get rid of that ref!! and i think just make it more tough. Let the Gladiators smash the crap out of the challenger whether they break their ribs or not! |

| Lets make some positive suggestions about making a great show even better. (LOL no sarcasm please!) How would you make Gladiators better for series 2? - Up the pace with the editing. Its an action show and it feels like its being directed as light entertainment. - Update the glads costumes to give them character like the new UK ones - they've set the standard and our guys can look even better. - Return the Gladiator stats screens but with character and oomp - see the US version. - Music - louder and punchier please! - Please bring back Skytrak. - The Eliminator needs a tweak - remove the harness clip on & ladder and bring back the cargo net. |
