I would suggest that anyone commenting on the Telegraph/Herald article first read the original interview in the Women's Weekly. You will find there is a "journalist" out there who has selectively interpretted the WW article and the rest of the papers have just copied this first article word for word (hmm isn't that plagiarism?? it does seem to happen a lot, must be a shortage of real reporters out there). The original article is on Sonia and life post separation etc. and mentions how Todd took her on a holiday to get her out of the spotlight after her separation and while away she mentioned one of her biggest regrets was not having children. Interesing enough from comments many have made some have presumed that Sonia didn't want to have kids not that it just didn't happen. It was after that conversation Todd offered to father the child (bear in mind they have been great friends since 12). Nowhere does it say she has agreed to it, also this wasn't a publicity interview more a human interest story and about their long friendship. Although it is likely it was meant to put Sonia in the media - there is always some sort of story when a new series of any show is about to be shown, whether it be a reality show or soap.
Mind you it will get good publicity! people just love a bit of goss, and if it ever happened boy what dancing genes the kid would have. lol.
Funnily enough this story creates a negative reaction but for some reason noone comments at all on other couples e.g. Sarah Jessica Parker & Hubby who have paid a surragote to have their babies - one rule for one and another for others I guess (and actually I don't agree with either instances but it's none of my business).
Role on July 5 - wonder if there will be any surprises for us? - last season we had Bruno for the first couple of episodes, it would be kind of neat if e.g. Jason Gilkinson made a guest appearance on the judging panel but guess his itinerary wouldn't allow it |

| I think it's sick and pathetic that they've used this for publicity and to boost their profiles. |
