Great to see so many people showing compassion for Lincoln. We all makes mistakes, learn and grow. Now lets get back to dancing!

Re:Lincoln Lewis Reply to this message
Its plain to see that many people on this message board view Lincoln Lewis through the same rose coloured glasses his mother see's him through.
If the average 20 yr old in the street behaved in the manner of Lincoln Lewis you would be disgusted but because he is a "celebrity" you put the blinkers on and think its no big deal. THIS "man" is a GRUB!
**********************

Well, that is pretty standard for a large number of 16-25 yr old boys with raging hormones! They act first then find out what the consequences are later! They certainly aren't thinking with their "brains"!

**Lol! I love that Jodi is coping a bashing here too - she's not EVEN on the the show this year {chuckles}

Golly, you should have seen some of the stupid stuff I did as a kid - but I learned from my mistakes and moved on - that's called life.

Re:Lincoln Lewis Reply to this message
Why do so many hold celebrities up as some sort of role model and then kick them when they realise you are no different to the ordinary people who are not stars?

They made a mistake......(Jodi and Lincoln)....let's hope they learned from it.....:)

Just like we need to learn from our mistakes.

------------------------- ------------------------

i know quite a few young guys that have done similar things (filmed sex acts and then showed mates) and have deeply regreted it afterwards. It depends on the people that are around you at the time as well. One of the guys that i knew who did that, showed one of his mates and his mate was grossed out by it and told him that it wasnt cool and you could see his ego just drop. Dont think he will be doing that again.
Point is, the home and away cast were appulled by it as well, therefore leaving Lincoln in shame and embarrassment!

Re:Lincoln Lewis Reply to this message
well said coachjacki... i completely agree! classie, you got to remember to seperate the person from the character they play on the show.
I just think its unfair how some ppl are saying they arent going to watch home and away again because of lincoln and jodie. They are human, i know ive made plenty of mistakes. All you can do is learn and grow from them. In the end, i believe it turns you into a better person (to realise the mistakes you've made and to learn and change from them)

Gosh, I am so over all this nastiness, don't know what they are on about re Jodi, but she and Lincoln are both young, we all make mistakes, we have the luxury of them not being made public.
Lets put this rubbish to rest and look forward to the show, I know I am.

Re:Lincoln Lewis Reply to this message
Classie - that's just the point. Lincoln IS just an average 20 year old boy and these days average 20 year olds are doing some really dumb things - especially if they've got stupid mums.

I think YOU'RE the one who's making more of this than necessary just because you think you know him from some stupid tv soap or something.

Re:Lincoln Lewis Reply to this message
Thank God I have no idea what anyone is talking about re: Lincoln, I just watch the show for the pure enjoyment of dance. To my way of thinking people who bring things up on message boards about a person's character, without knowing that person personally are nothing more than gossip mongers.

The media have a wonderful way of telling a story that suits them in their sales of mags. and papers.....don't believe all you read....My opinion only of course:)

Simple solution don't watch, your loss:)

Re:Lincoln Lewis Reply to this message
cassie - I didn't even know who he is or what he did - until you came here and announced it.
Now I don't condone poor behaviour, even less that of mothers who should know better - but I don't know all the facts and am happy to let the dancing (if he can dance) to speak for itself

Re:Lincoln Lewis Reply to this message
I think Lincoln thought he wasn't getting enough attention from the press (polls indicate he's not the hottest male H&A cast member), so he sought some publicity by doing this thing.
