| Lisa, so glad you mum is feeling better. Tash I have had that rotating heart thing too, one I had at a public hospital, I know they are busy but they just left me, I had a mirror above me but when that went I felt trapped. The second one I had at a private hospital, they gave me a blanket, soft music and a nurse stayed with me, that was so much nicer. |

| Hi Tash, going to Bali this Saturday with my hubby & young one, my sister and her family and best mates from Perth and their family. We are going for 10 days, can't wait!! | Morning all, re the MRI my Mum needed to be blindfolded, she totally freaked out! Btw, she is feeling better every day :>) I'm getting excited about going to Bali, funny though I will miss you all! Reading through yesterdays posts, I wanted to say to Jaybear, I am sorry about your partner, how brave you must have been. Coach, how about coming and living over here in the south west of WA, it is really beautiful and the people are friendly! Crikey, I hope you enjoyed your day off and are feeling a better. | Yes, Magic, know what you mean! I hah a cardiac test a couple of yrs back and they didn't tell me that the second stage of the test was having this strange contraption of a machine rotate around me a whisker's breadth from my face. I just yelled "get me out of here" and got told off!!!!! They tested me on another machine that was not as sophisticated, but were rather unpleasant people! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tash, I was ok with my first one but the second I was so scared, I totally panicked. Funny thing, my sister had one, she had sedation, fell asleep and woke up in a tunnel of light, thought she was on her way to heaven, we laugh about it now. I just hate the feeling I can't get out and think what if the power goes off and they all go home? | Hi Magic, I had an MRI a few yrs ago and I just closed my eyes and thought pleasant thoughts. I have no idea if the tube is shut at both ends or not, but didn't want to find out! i found it a bit of an alarming experience with all the weird noises etc! | Morning everyone, Coach, lovely of you to pop in, we are all thinking of you. Trekk's suggestion of Hall Gap/Grampions is a great one, just beautiful and not too far from a main town. Jaybear, sorry you lost your partner, it hurts. You spoke of making a CD, I use many for meditation and sleep, one I love is called hidden forest, you can hear all the sounds of the forest, birds etc. I had to have an mri, I am a coward and hate them, I took my cd with me, the technicians thought it was hilarious, you could hear the bang bang when it took pictures and then all the birds sounds. |

| G'night everyone, even tough it's very early morning! Hope you all had a great Monday..we've had some nice rain tonight, not too heavy but at least good garden rain. Clients all good tonight as well which makes a very nice change..and just as well because I burnt one of my index fingers quite badly while cooking the clients dinner! | hello all - and hello to u coach - i am glad u stopped by - it is so nice to hear from u - i am prob not that great to give advice about where to move to - unfort i have lived most of my life around the same area - i have travelled to some lovely places around aus though - if u like the ocean beach - apollo bay, lorne along the west coast are beautiful, i prob wldnt recommend the east coast of vic - can get very very hot and dry down there and not overly pretty scenery - trek recommended halls gap or her territory far nsw coast, bear in mind vic and nsw can get very hot!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| PS I'm thinking of chucking Tassie in and moving to maybe NSW or Vic. Any thoughts on where to move to? Country/rural is okay. Must be cheap, not totally remote and preferably pretty (ie not flat and dry). Near a good regional centre would be all right. I'm happy to travel an hour or so to get to proper shops. Just looking for local knowledge and opinions. |

| I'm doing okay thanks folks. Not great, but okay. BTW I've read a couple of messages that there are messages in the kermit room but I cant find any. I must be doing something wrong. Can someone please email me to clear this up? It's freezing cold again here in Tassie. My boy dally would've loved it. The girl dally is fretting badly and keeps looking for him. |
