| Morning Tash, I am in agreeance with you re Tony Abbott - the ETS is way too premature and needs to be nutted out fully before being presented to parliament. As for Abbott himself, I worry he is too conservative but generally like the guy and was impressed with his speech yesterday morning. | Morning Lisa...enjoy your last day at work before your holiday and have a ball in Bali!! As for the jerk at work..he's taking over from me again tonight so let's see what happens! If I was that way inclined I could do a report on him for a 'personal attack'...I might just mention that! Not too bad a day here, still coolish and slightly windy but so much nice than the days before..had some nice garden rain last night too. |

| Hi Lisa...I'm just home from work now but great to see you! As for that client, well we're trying everything and have another appt. with the specialist on Friday but yesterday she was great which was nice...tonight omg I just wanted to leave..and to top it off, the nightshift came on, I was doing a handover and explaining how the clients had been, we got into a discussion about this one's behaviour and everything I said, well this arrogant chauvanistic LAZY b of a man told me I was either wrong or it'll never happen or whatever else he could say to 'p o o p o o' my thoughts, far out... Jacki, yes Lisa is right about my loss..it just came up when we were talking about listening to the lovely sound of rain and how soothing it can be..my daughter made me some cd's of it to help me sleep at that time. I hope you're going okay. |

Crikey, I hope you've had a good coupla days rest, I've certainly had a good coupla days work, not so much on the till, just getting organised for being away. Like Magic, I would love to dive into your wardrobe for a while, I like the sound of velvet, burgandy, lace boots, raw silk, funny eclectic unusual stuff. Jaybear, bloody hell, when are "they" going to sort out that client!! Bloody hell ( resorts to swearing again!) Coach, serious, I remember you mentioned you lived in WA once, just wondering where you lived, and why not think about living here again? I can definitley recommend it! I do think it a wonderful spot. If I may answer for Jaybear, she mentioned that she lost her partner suddenly 3 days before Christmas (last year?). Tash, Magic, Trekker, Perko, all you lovely ladies, my good thoughts and wishes to you all tonight. | Quick hi from work to everyone...yes jumpsuits were the go were they not!! I had about 6 of them for different occasions, loved 'em! Hope everyone had a good day, I have a couple of hours to go here after a shocker of a shift...and being in the mood I am, I left a rather sarcastic comment on the thread about dwts next year oops. | Yes, jump suits, boiler suits, I had forgotten the name, one year at a work Christmas do,one of the girls and I arrived wearing identical black jump suits much to the boss's amusement, he called us the dolly sisters from that day on, I remember syndicate, they had some nice after five stuff, I much prefer the unusual type of clothes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Crikey, I would love a tour of your wardrobe, clothes were more expensive back then! I can't believe harem pants are back in the shops, I also had gorgeous pink velvet overalls, remember those one piece outfits? | Crike, thanks for your lovely words..and I know you're a lovely person too! I'm just having my breakfast (?) as I type, didn't get up till 11am coz I slept badly and now have to rush to get ready for work. But hey, I always loved harem pants and I've noticed my 24 yo daughter now has a couple of pairs and they're in all the younger clothes shops here.....and of course this generation will think they invented them haha! |

| oh my goodness magic - i too have a pair of "harem pants" as they were called way back in the early 80's - i bought them from merrivale and mr john in collins street way way back - they were expensive then for their time - when i think about it - i prob wldnt spend that much now on pants - they were over $80 way back then - but they are so unusual and so daggy now - but oh so well made and really do look funny for todays style - my wardrobe if full of weird and wonderful things from by-gone days | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Funny crikey, I was only talking to a friend the other day about how I never go to Chadstone now, it is too big, when it first opened it was nice, but not now. I am so like you, love poking about in the little unusual shops, I have so many clothes and some go back years and years. I have a pair of black pants with elastic at the ankles and sequins in the shape of palm trees, just love them, they are almost thread bare now but I still wear them. |

| yeah me too magic i prefer smaller centres with unusual shops - i am not a big fan of the northlands/chadstones etc - i definitely prefer smaller more individual style shops - and as u know a huge fan of op shops/arty-farty/bric-a-b rac shops - these days i dont really need a lot of clothes - although i have a huge wardwrobe full of stuff from many years gone by - but i love them as they are pretty unique - just stuff u cannot get these days and for many years | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I love Belgrave too Crikey, I hate the big centres, they are all the same really. It is either black apple or pepper, it is on the corner of ferntree gully and stud roads, just near the carabbean market, mainly causual wear, shorts, three quarter pants, and long pants, the quality is terrific, I believe Myer stock their range, this is all last season stuff and really cheap. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Jaybear, so hard losing loved ones and especially around Christmas time. A friend of mine has just lost her son (an accident) he was only later thirties with a young son, just too sad. Crikey, do you ever go to the black apple outlet? It maybe too far for you, it is in ferntree gully. |

| Morning all..what a chilly day here, about 18 and an icy wind, it must be snowing somewhere I think! Thanks so much for your kind thoughts about my partner, it was a very difficult time especially since it was sudden and totally unexpected...and only 3 days before Chrissy. Lisa I hope you have a wonderful time in Bali with your family and glad your mum is doing a lot better! Hope the rest of you have a lovely day, driving or doing whatever. |
