| Tonight was our finale & tomorrow is the 2 hour results show. Let me just say that Kristi is AMAZING!!! She wound up w/a perfect 60/60 for her cha cha in the group cha cha & her freestyle. I don't remember what Jason or Cristian scored. I hope their dances will be on Youtube soon so they can be posted here. I've been voting like a mad woman for Kristi lol. |

| Here are the results from last nights elimination. Dancing for the mirror ball trophy in next weeks Finale are: Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska Cristian De La Fuente & Cheryl Burke (going for her 3rd trophy. Mark & Edyta vying for their first). Broadway actress Marisa Jaret-Winouker was eliminated last night. What I have heard is that on top of the freestyle routines each couple will perform that they will also do a group Cha-Cha dancing at the same time. I say GO KRISTI & MARK!!! They have been my faves since the begining!! |

| Just another message... I was reading back through the posts on this particular thread & I saw that someone was wondering about our female judge. Her name is Carrie Ann Inaba. She's a choreographer but not a ballroom dancer. She appeared as a dancer on a sketch comedy show in the 1990's called "In Living Color" she's also appeared in the 2nd Austin Powers movie as 1 half of the *** anese twins Austin flirts with when he's at that party where he meets Felecity Shagwell for the first time. She was the twin named "F00k Yu" if I'm not mistaken. I'm not fond of her really because she tends to favor the male celebrities & comes down harder on the women so it seems. I'd much rather get rid of her & find someone else. Oh there was a thread started on our MB for DWTS & it showed a clip from your DWTS & someone made the comment that they'd like to get rid of our co-host Samantha Harris in favor of Sonia Kruger LOL (they said it seems that Sonia does a better job than our co-host) though the clip was actually of a paso doble that received all 1's. |

| The eye candy Vs best dancer is a hot topic on our message boards for DWTS. I myself vote for the dancer I like best. This past DWTS the one that aired in the fall my favorite was Spice Girl Mel B & her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy (I admit that I have a HUGE crush on him as do a few of my friends LOL) but I didn't vote solely because of him. I voted because as a pair to me they were the best & their chemistry was off the charts. This season my favorites have been Kristi & Mario & now that Mario isn't in it all of my votes will go to Kristi. I'd really like to see a woman win this season since we haven't had a female winner since season 1. There's a lot of negativity on our boards about how Krisit has this huge advantage because of her background as a skater. My philosophy has always been that everyone has an advantage just some have a more obvious one than others. JMO. |

| You're welcome for the updates. Here is what each couple is dancing tonight. From what I have learned they drew out of a hat the dances they will perform: Kristi & Mark Ballas - Tango & Jive Jason & Edyta Sliwinska - Foxtrot & Paso Doble Cristian & Cheryl Burke - V.Waltz & Samba (the samba is the dance that Cristian ruptured his tendon 2 weeks ago) Marisa & Tony Dovolani - Quickstep & Rumba. I'm actually a bit surprised that it seems that our version of DWTS is the only one that airs twice a year in the spring & in the fall. For awhile I just assumed that other versions were doing so as well but I was wrong lol. |

I think the best dancer is Kristi - though I fear that one of the men might win as some voters go for brawn and eye candy rather than the quality of the dancer but then that's the way some of these shows go. | Tomorrow is our Semi-Finals for the spring edition of our DWTS. Still dancing are: Kristi Yamaguchi Marisa Jaret-Winouker Jason Taylor Cristian De La Fuente. One of my favorites r&b singer Mario was eliminated last week. I think he should have been in it still but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. I hope you all enjoy watching our DWTS. I hope that when the Australian series starts again that the shows will be available on Youtube. I'd like to see the season from the start. |

| I am half way through watching l00th show best of edition, just had to mention how much I loved the Quick Step with Apollo and his partner, (sorry her name escapes me, will have to look again) it was brilliant.....Some of the choices the judges have made for the show, haven't really grabbed me. I have seen better IMO. Oh! and there was another Quick Step they chose, the minute I saw the Yellow!!! suit it lost me straight away....It wasn't that great anyway.....at least it wasn't yellow lycra..LOL Well now, back to trawling youtube, before my great bunch of children and grandchildren decsend upon me...cheers all, have a great day.:))) |

| I found this while watching pro dances from our version of DWTS (US Version since I'm in the States). Here's a pro dance from S3 the first season that Kym Johnson appeared on our version. It's a very powerful,dramatic Paso Doble (IMO). I thought I'd share. She is dancing with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. | That's a huge step for our show. I've noticed in other versions of DWTS lifts were allowed & here they were only allowed only in the freestyle. Eliminated Celeb this past week - Shannon Elizabeth. Still dancing: Cristian De La Fuente (depsite having a ruptured tendon needing surgery) Kristi Yamaguchi Marissa Jaret-Winouker Mario Jason Taylor This Tuesday on the results show they will be honoring the 100th episode of Dancing With the Stars by bringing back several past celeb dancers & pro dancers. |

| There was a bit of drama so to speak on our DWTS last night. Celeb Cristian De La Fuente injured him arm during the samba last night w/partner Cheryl Burke. We'll find out tonight if he's going to drop out or stay in. He either pulled a muscle pretty badly or had a severe cramp in his arm. Either way according to magazines & the internet he supposedly had to see a Dr. today. So far remaining until tonight are: Shannon Elizabeth Kristi Yamaguchi Jason Taylor Cristian De La Fuente (fate undecided due to injury) Marissa Jaret-Winokour Mario Our host Tom Bergeron announced last night that there are only 3 weeks left for this season. It's flown by pretty quickly for us here in the States. When does DWTS Australia start up again? |

| Did anyone see Today's Sunday Telegraph. Sonia Kruger has invited Kimmy back to do Series 8 of the Australian DWTS. Kim will be in Australia on holiday at that time and is rumoured to have agreed. Also Larry Edmur hot favourite as new host. No longer tim Campbell is a front runner due to his defection to Nine. |
