| Some more thoughts on improving DWTS - lets get some real 'Stars' not has beens and some with slightly tainted reputations. Though these seem to be few and far between these days. Maybe Daryl could be a competitor! - Oops better run |

| I'd love to see a DWTS all star challenge where the judges pick their 3 favourites,to dance against the judges 3 fav. from the US and England.Maybe they could do it as a regular thing going from country to country every 2nd year or so. |

My suggestions for improvement;
1) Keep Sonja Kruger she is brilliant on the show
2) More dancing, I have the priveledge of being taught by some of the dancers on dancing with the stars and they are geniuses in their dance genres and could watch them dance all day :-)
3) Yes less CD promotions we are here to watch the dancing.
4) Just an idea for series 9, rather than using celebraties, why not try members of the public???? It could be a hoot!!! |

| The only way DWTS could get any better would be if they did less talking and more dancing as this show goes way over time and all saints up next, i have to tape it and some times you run out of tape. yes i like to watch it but as i have any early start i have to tape both shows, i watch an hour of it. but with all shows like this they do like to chat not to mention that saying and the winner is? will be right back after these commercials i'm sick of that line. |

| arronzig, I think Steven Segal would be great but I have read he can't stand any body odours whatsoever, it could have a problem or three with sweaty bods all around him. |

| Have been watching US series this week with Kim & Joey and a 3 way grand final is the way to go like they do over there. We then get to see 3 freestyle dances. |

How about bringing in some overseas talent?
I mean, Australian talent is great, but what about an international version of the show, like where celebs from Australia and America do battle do see who is the best dancer ever?
And then, if we're going to do that, I think there is one name that we CANNOT go past as a dancer...and that name is: Steven Segal.
How about it? Id watch. |

Cutey, I am having dance lessons, swing dance lessons every Monday night and I would love to have more lessons through the week but raising a family & money does not allow much more than this.
Anyway, I'll still look forward to our once a year DWTS. |

| As Kaz in the uk said, if they have only 1 a year, the show will have a real sense of occasion so having some big production numbers like on grand final night will be very fitting. They could get a different couple to do a pro routine each week ... let's keep dreaming on and it might happen. Maybe if we're all really good santa will make it all come true next year. |

I hope the powers that be read these boards, great ideas coming through. I would love to see the show start with an opening number like it did in the grand final, thought is was so classy.
Had to laugh about the toilet paper, I have a friend who folds her end of paper at each side, friends complain of 'paper cuts' |

DWTS 2008 has already announced an improvement. No more Daryl! I read in the paper on the weekend that Larry has a good chance of hosting.
On a sad note though, there'll only be 1 DWTS for the year. Oh no, what to do???? |

Another interesting thing I remember is that one of the ladies said that she only buys the nice paper when people are coming over ... wtf? Why not have nice paper all the time with nice marine themes and not just for when mother in law visits lol.
Anyway, better get back on topic ... bring on series 8! |

| Yes, they are good most of the time but it does get tiresome when they keep badgering you, esp when it's about toot paper. Do they really think anyone really cares that much about the design when they need to wipe their botties? |

| I did heaps of those focus groups at one time - the food and drink was always terrific! Did one recently for the new Uncle T o b y 's Yogurt range. I had to give my opinion on the umpteen art designs they had for the containers!! "Do you like this colour or this colour?", "What do you think of this logo?" Still, they gave me $70 for my opinion!! |

| ^^ LOL. I have no doubt, cutey, that a junior member of the DWTS production team does vet these threads for ideas. This board is free market research for the producers. Normally they would pay an advertising agency thousands of dollars to conduct focus groups to find out what people think about the show. By having this board, they get the exact same feedback, if not better feedback, for free. |
