| I don't think gay men should artificially create a child. It's just wrong!!!!!! Please don't put Todd McKenney back on DWTS. He's not a good role model for anybody. |

Oh, that's good. I thought you were suggesting that the DWTS Board should close now that the series had finished until next year. I realise that a group of us are not really posting about dancing on the D&K thread, but we are having fun, and some of the comments are sort of 'on topic'. A few of us wanted to keep in touch but were a bit reluctant to take it to the wider world, so to speak, much for the same reasons your mentioned.
Glad you have enjoyed your input to the DWTS boards so far. |

| I agree totally - some of the other threads have some rather "unfriendly" kind of posters - they react really negatively to new posters. Not like here where everyone is able to voice an opinion and noone becomes aggressive or abusive. |

It appears that it carried through from Series 6 to Series 7.
You know, you don't have to read any threads that you don't want to read. Just because you don't want to read them is no reason why people shouldn't have fun and continue to post messages as long as the forum is available. |

I was hoping you could tell me if this message board remains open, all the time, or does it go off for a time before the next series begins.
Some of the topics here are rather monotonous now, about the same celebrities, especially one. |

| I think everyone has taken the Ben Cousins' comments from Todd and Sonia, way too seriously, I think he's had so much publicity lately, that I thought their remarks were quite funny, and I'm sure if Ben was watching he might have had a chuckle too. So lighten up everyone, I know there are ppl who have drug problems, and I sympathies, but really it was said in fun, I'm sure they wouldn't want to deliberately hurt anyone, so move on. |

| Yes, Craig a hottie. To make it truly authentic, they should have danced barefoot. I realise what they were trying to do with the routine to make it a different samba but I like the more mainstream stuff as it's more entertaining. |

I thought I missed something as I didn't like Bridies performance but assumed I had missed something. Obviously not by these comments.
I must admit though that Craig looked pretty hot out there. |

| I'm going to watch the show again tonight but the simple samba whisk I saw was awful. It's annoying that sometimes you can't see their feet. |

I didn't like Bridie's routine either as it had shabby footwork and not enough of the samba we know but I have a feeling the judges all liked it because of the interpretaion as the samba's roots originated in Africa and she was dressed as a Zulu queen. Of course traditionally, this dance was danced in bare feet.
Most of us now are more used to the softer Bossa Nova samba type music which often has latin or jazz type melodies. |

I think the judges were sympathetic with Patti's one day of rehearsal because it was not her fault. Her techer was seek so she couldn't practice unless they used a different pro whereas with James his pro was available, followed him around the country and he still was not available. So a very different scenario,
Though all that said you can and should only judge what you see on the day on the floor. |

I'd just like to say.
1. The judges told David his performance was an improvement on last week, although quirky or technically off at times. He received less points this week.
2. The judges raved about Bridie's routine, and I would have assumed they were right. I was bored and didn't like it. I generally like Bridie's dances, so it isn't that I'm anti her.
3. The judges were sympathetic with Patti & Sandro because they were only able to practice for one day. They attacked James saying that wasn't good enough.
4. I am happy if a couple leaves that on the night they danced well, so they go out on a high. Hence, I felt sorry for Jessica the night she left.
I just found a lot of inconsistencies last night. I know, as a non-dancer, there are a lot of things I miss, but I think I have picked up some idea over 7 series and I know what I like the look of, not always technically perfect. |

| No way did Bridie deserve a 10! I am starting to get a bit peeved as 7 must have their own agenda for bridie's future. Her samba whisks were awful ... look at her feet! You don't get a 10 unless the routine was perfect and it most certainly wasn't. WTF????? |

| I was surprised at D & K's song because I have it in my collection and as far as I know, it's a samba beat, not salsa, hence the timing issues. |

I don't understand how come Bridie never gets anything said by the judges that she should be doing better. They make out that she is fragile / doesnt do anything wrong everything is perfect and giving her 10 is a joke. Come on judges she isn't a competive Champion!!! Your scores are out of alignment with each other. Todd a 10 and Mark come on guys what are u doing??? PLEASE EXPLAIN..
She really isn't that good.. check out the usage of feet and the knees that are apart its all on the top and no substance in the feet area... so how can you give her a 10 mmmmmm if she was a perfect 10 then she may as well go straight to the winners section and collect the prize...... or sit down and wait for the final.... either way |
