| who is more popular? Matt or Adam? People have to LIKE watching the people dancing - technical ability is only a factor. This is the real strength of dancing with the stars. There are technically better dancers and if it was pure dancesport, the difference perhaps it would have worked another way. But it didn't and that's that. Great show. | I agree with you Marc. It is about more than the skill of dancing. I was entertained by Adam. His fun and perseverance paid off in his popularity. I hope Adam really enjoys his win. |

| The show was pure spectacle for sure, but the voting system needs to change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can a dancing contest be voted purely on popularity? Dancesport (I'm sure) doesn't work that way?? | 50% of the vote is base on view votes so. Ranking is places first according to judges so Matt would have received a 1 & Adam 2 and the same ordering for viewer votes. In the event of a tie (as in here) the viewer vote decides the winner which in this case would have been Adam. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I thought tonight's program dragged on a bit. This is the first time I have been sooooo disappointed in the result. I thought Adam was a terrific personality and he did improve over the series but it became extremely evident by the result that this show has become a popularity vote so I doubt I will bother with it again. It is entertaining but you also want to see the best dancers succeed and this time they absoluetly did not. | yes Ella - that's true. This show is about a combination of things, not just technical dance. Many people whine about dance sport - this isn't dance sport - it's personality and entertainement. | I didn't watch all the fillers so can't comment there. The public "spoke" and I was happy to see Adam win as for me, there were no standout dancers in this series. Was there all this fuss when Kouta won his series? |

| thank god we finally have a mod post i will plug it. as for my thoughts. very disaponted. i know it is a popularity contest. but why is adam popular? he didn't care about his dancing and wasn't even happy that he won. but atleast all those people that never semmed to stop saying it was rigged for a ch7 star to win can take a rest. |
