| Being from the States, I've never seen Pedersen in anything but CH. Actually, I like his character. It's a good balance with the rest of the cast. Yes, sometimes he comes off as though he's in the middle of a rugby match, but for the most part I think his character is an effective element for the team. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I think Aaron is a nice person (heard him before) but this character is too over the top. It is like he has to be a gruff, rough, frowning hot head. he has no shades of a character, just shoved in your face, like Wildside. they need to develop the characters not stereotypes | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| What you say is true - about confusing actors with the roles they play. However, I've never liked Aaron Pedersen - he was in Wildside and Water Rats. | Aaron is a great actor. I think people sometimes mix up the person with the character they're playing. "Duncan" is rude etc but Aaron is just ACTING the rude character. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Personally, I think the character of Duncan is the most interesting of the male roles - including Wolfe's - and Aaron's strong personality and acting ability are a big plus in the series. It's to be hoped his "sick leave" absence from the show isn't too long because his presence is badly needed, particularly as the other strong character of Jennifer will gradually become less involved in the action for a while due to Nadine's impending motherhood. (As of last Friday she's NOW on maternity leave, and waiting...) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The third series begins shooting next February (this year's filming wraps in a couple of week's time), so it's unlikely that the producers would make any serious alterations to a winning formula. Any claims to prior knowledge of important plotlines should be taken with a large pinch of salt! From old experience I know that only those directly involved with the series know what the last scripts of the season contain, and such information will remain under wraps until formally released. (In my day all scripts were marked 'Confidential' and any leaking of important forthcoming plots could have dire consequences for those involved in that leak!) |
