I do hope that's a tongue-in-cheek comment! Playschool was just one facet of Noni's career, which began nearly thirty-five years ago, and which includes a lot of serious film and television work, as can be seen in her IMDb entry http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0372023/maindetails

but take this into consideration, noni is used to reading story books to 3-6 year olds and playing with toys. so it is a big jump for her. i like her more on play school but i still like her on city homicide.

I love it too, but somehow, can't take Noni seriously in her role! I keep thinking about her on Better Homes and Gardens with her (then) wisecracking husband.

I've been watching city homicide since it started and I do think it's a really good aussie drama, but I can't help but wonder when Noni is going to start singing nursery ryhmes and when Shane Bourne will crack a funny joke. Anyway it is a great show and I love it!!!
