Hi tash no I didn't see him in The Bill (it must have clashed with something I used to watch)...my parents though said he was fantastic.
I hope we see him in more iron-man comps...they do show those on the telly from time to time...I admire both the iron-men and iron-women for doing what they do...the closest I come to water is taking my daily shower...I can't swim and panic if I can't touch the bottom. |

I love what they're doing with his character! It's giving him the room to show the quality of his acting ability. I think the way he can convey such powerful emotion is brilliant. He was outstanding last night.
I get sad because I know it's leading up to him leaving tho.... |

| I think it's an absolute abomination Daniel's leaving the show - but I guess he does need to move onward and upward... Sorry channel 7 but I won't be watching after he leaves :( |

| Daniel is an allround good performer, either as an actor or compere. He seemed to slip seamlessly into the compere role on DWTS and was also featured on The Bill for some time. Likeable lad! |

Actually I assumed Noni's character had an excellent reason to be on leave following the tragic death of her son. I assumed she would be back soon and that the storyline from last year would be continued. She's a brilliant actress. I can't wait to see her involved with that IA cop who kept her and her son from going to Europe. That should be a wowser!
I realize they rotate roles, it's just that Aaron Pedersen had just gotten back so it was an odd time for his character to take leave. They should have had this ep before last week's, then had him back.( It was so great to see his character lightened up a bit. I love that smile,)
I liked Ally better this week. She's working out well.
I still say lose Tasmin. |

evanparsons - last week Daniel's character was barely in it, this week he had more air time than last week but hardly dominated. I felt there was an even spread.
And I agree with bearyfolk - there could never be too much of Daniel in the show anyway - he's one of the best actors in it. |

Can there ever be too much Daniel Macpherson? Not in my books.
I think it's such a shame that he is leaving the series. |

McPherson will be leaving the series at some point before the end of the season, so a plot thread has been building up around his character since the show returned; it wasn't Pederson's week for Duncan to be featured, nor Richardson's; Garner will be totally invisible for the next several weeks (maternity leave) so Jennifer has been seconded to another section to explain her absence.
Nobody has commented on the fact that although Noni Hazlehurst is included in the opening credits she has yet to appear this season. However, she was actually starring in a Melbourne Theatre Company production during this time - receiving excellent notices - and should be returning soon to the mysterious and tragic plotline Waverley was involved in at the end of last season, which remains unresolved. |

I don't think there is/was too much DM - but to the OP, don't worry, you'll be put out of your misery soon when DM leaves the show.
iqaluitdi: agree with you about Tasmin - she's not at all well suited to that roll and quite unconvincing. I did like her in Blue Heelers though. |

I didn't think there was too much Si. he and Ally were basically the team tonight. Toome there was too much Tasmin though. I don't like her. She doesn't come off well as a profiler or counsellor. She has spooky eyes..lol I wish they'd lose her.
Nadine was pregnant while they were filming these episodes so they had to keep her hidden. She'll be off for a few weeks now.
I don't understand why Dunny was on leave though as he just got back last week after being off for months.. Did they show these episodes out of order?
I'd also like to know where the pics and information are for the supporting cast. Poor Louise isn't even listed. They should use her more if they need other people. |

I know he's Channel 7's big star of the moment(hosting DWTS) and he's a good actor, but there are other actors in the "City Homicide" cast, we seem to be getting a lot of Simon hogging the SLs.
Agree?
Where was Aaron Pedersen last night?
Damien Richardson didn't have much to do either.
And Nadine Garner is practically invisible. |
