If you've never watched Aussie police shows, omniboi, one might ask why you're on a message board discussing one. How can you have an informed opinion on something you've never seen? I've watched many American and British police shows, as well as several Aussie ones, and I have to say that City Homicide is the equal of many and better than a lot.

omniboi, If you've never watched Australian police dramas, you're in no position to make comparisons with the UK and US shows. The best of our productions more than hold their own against anything from overseas - especially the States - despite the handicap of lower production budgets.

I never watched Aussie cop shows. I believe they are inferior to the American and English ones.

I also am in the U.S. (Texas) and I love CH as well as a few other Aussie progs. If you want to d/l them you can from a premium newsreader and know how to use winrar and put them together. It is fairly simple if you get a program like Newsleecher and pay for the Supersearch engine. its not much, (30/yr) I dont have cable so I d/l a lot of American shows as well as Aussie, NZ, and Brittish, like the Bill. good luck

You could try running a search for CH vids in google.

Or look on youtube.

Hope you can find a way to view them, they're worth watching!

Actually unless you're in Australia you can't even view the previews on the website. Everything is videos now that can only be viewed in Aus. Overseas viewers can watch all the Aussie ads bouncing all over the web page though.*rolls eyes*

I miss all the great information they used to have on the page, and the pictures from the apisodes.

We've only had 2 seasons but because it was spread over the christmas break and went into the next year, many people believed it to be a 3rd season. The third season airs later this year.

A Yank from the Land Up Over Reply to this message
I'm a BIG City Homicide fan! Brilliant acting, great chemistry amongst the cast, and excellent story lines. I am a fan of the Police Drama genre and we have some good ones here at home. But this is well done and the contrast between police at home and in AU is interesting. One point is that apparently your police do not carry weapons off-duty. That makes for some interesting details.

We don't get CH in the States, but I found it online. I discovered City Homicide late in Season 1 and have been able to get all the previous episodes.

I'm wondering if anybody can tell me the status of the show's scheduling. Apparently this is now Season 3 and I've found four episodes. But I saw something that said the show is seven episodes in, and I haven't seen the latest one where Josh goes missing. I am so confused! :-)

At any rate, this is one really great show and I can't wait to see the next episode.
