that is true...but what is the point of having them both the same???? you have to have some differences. remember you have as long as you want to read the books but they only have an hourfor the series....if they had longer i guess the series would be more like the books and they only changed ryan to booth because Kathy has a copyright on her books too.

Actually, Tempe in the books gets hurt/captured/attacked in nearly every book, if I remember correctly. The one in the series doesn't get attacked nearly so often.

In the series, Bones is supposedly based on Kathy Reichs herself, not the Tempe Brennan from the books. Andrew Ryan is sort-of supposed to represent Booth, but only as a placeholder. They're not much alike.

i have read all 12 of Kathy Reichs books, i know all the characters. there are some distinct differences between the the book and the series. like most of the books are set in Quebec, and booth in the books is called Andrew Ryan, Ryan also has a child too like booth. in the books Tempe does have a child and she isnt so socially awkward, but both the books and the series are great. if they were both exactly the same dont you think the series would be boaring??? its there differences that make them both intresting.

The books are completely different from the show. The only thing that is the same is that there is a character called Temperance Brennan

They are different to the show but very enjoyable to read. In some of the books the characters are the same from the show but in others they are not.
