omg, it was so sweet, and you could see the dissapointment in her eyes when he added "In a professional, 'atta girl' kind of way"

and then right at the end it was Avalon, Booth and Brennan...
Avalon: You two are gonna keep doing things as usual.
Booth: Sometimes you gotta settle for second best.
Avalon: By the way, my cards tell me this all works out eventually.
Booth: Oh. Really?
Bones: What works out eventually?

and it open to interpretation, but pretty much Avalon is making reference to Booth and Brennan eventually working out :) :) :)
