| We have not seen the last of Gorgomon and Sweets was never actually discounted as Gorgomon's Apprentice. We discovered as the beginning of Season 4 that Zack did not kill the Lobbyist, was he a set-up? Let's look at the evidence that supports Sweet's as the apprentice; In Ep 3 x 8 The knight on the grid, Sweets insistance that they attach the knee caps of the victim to the Gorgamon statue because "Gorgamon will know" whether they do or not and it would keep alive the symbiotic connection, the physical appearance of the motorcyclist which we now know was not Zack. Saroyaan's comment's in Ep 3 x 15 The pain in the heart, were valid and somewhat logical, Sweets did disappear after the explosion, he could not explain his whereabouts during the confusion to Brennan & Booth but as a psychologist would know that the sarcastic quip he made at the diner would throw them off "Oh yes and I stole down to the vault and stole the Gorgomon statue", he was not taken in for questioning. He also became agitated/offended to discover that Zack was to plead insanity and strongly denied that Zack was insane, Zack couldn't be insane if Sweets believed in the Gorgomon agenda. Also, in Ep 4 x 21 Mayhem on a cross, we discovered that Sweets lost his parents just before he came to work on the "de facto crime fighting unit" as Gordon Wyatt put it. Which would have been the time Gorgomon was lookng for his new apprentice, he did after all become fatherless which we all know Zack never was. |
