| if they weren't dumb they would not have been cast. it's part of the premise of the show. bimbos are very marketable. which is part of why the show is sucessful. i'd say the reason it is called 'beauty' and the geek is because bimbo is usually used in an offensive manner, no one would apply. wheras 'geek' is a label that geeks can wear and be proud of an accept. |

Definitely bimbos; and definitely illustrative of marketing-viewer-bias that the adjective used to describe the female participants is complimentary ('Beauty') while the one used to describe the male participants ('Geek') is denigrating.
