| Singing-wise, I believe this year is definitely a very vast improvement on last year. None of last year's could sing at all. This year there are a lot of very strong vocals, ie Toby, Stan, with only a few bad ones. Its not the best year I admit that, but its definitely an improvement on last year. | I watched about 15 minutes last night, didn't hear anything that sounded even remotely vote-worthy and won't bother watching again. | Yes, it's not a good season for Idol. To make it worse, I reckon that the "bottom three" at the beginning of last night's show, were the "best" three from the previous show. There must be some form of block voting going on for certain contestants, regardless of the quality of their performances. Some of those "safe" last night were aweful and/or bland in the previous show. It just doesn't make sense, but it DOES make you stop wanting to watch IDOL. |

| Do you think it's passed it's use by date now. We just find it generally boring... same old same old, regardless of who the judges are. What did Sandilands add to the show? | this season is not worth watching, first they got holey than though and got rid of carl..bad move lost big audience then and on top of that they grab any old judge that happens to be in town please...the choices of songs each week are a flop..past seasons they covered different generations music from 50s 60s pop, etc this year trying just the kids stuff....honestly go back to how it was because you wont make it next year we'll be the first country it flops in.....i dont even waste a text this year infact i never missed it this year i flick over half the time and most people i know do the same..wake up channel 10 or its over | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
