| Real talent dosn't need Idol But do support it I suppose bribery for the cds they put out being a reason to promote for the company who owns it that old company with a new name re signs & re-records old songs does tributes re-records covers old songs as acoustic & calls them new songs. You see they sell the cds at the shows too t/shirts posters & stuff can do quite well the pubs & fill it in with so many supports (so many supports) must be money in it somewhere its hardly worth going give such a short show when you get to the main act & there are some who won't do it it seems for health reasons I suspect being their extremely high attendence fees Could not be met at some of the pubs but could still do quite well choosing to do day on green, winerys & so fourth for a Bigger crowd attendance where you may not get close enough to see & enjoy the show. & those radio shows jjj & others do help too. Did we hear anymore of that Casey girl? last time I saw heard her live she seemed scared,nervous & faltered heaps on the only song she sang. |

| minstrels Did you forget about JJJ mate? Home and Hosed, Live at the Wireless etc. JJJ are great supporters of Aussie music. The launching pad for bands like Silverchair, Powderfinger, Eskimo Joe, The Living End, The Whitlams, Frenzal Rhomb. I got your logic right here, fool. | Isn't it their choice to be puppets? Whatever floats your boat I say (shrug). Who the hell says that your way of "doing things" is the way it should be done ? Get some logic into your argument twit , maybe if you had any real talent we'd see you on idol or at least have heard of your band (which i suspect will never happen ). Pub circuits and garage bands are things of the past , back then there was no media outlets willing to touch unknown bands and so they had to come up via pubs and clubs. Only ONE record label ever gave virtual unknowns any real opportunity in australia and that was mushroom , these days shows like idol give unknowns oppotunities that they could never get otherwise. Get over yourself , your a muso snob who will never be heard of except in your own small world which lies between your ears. |
